  1. I don't think I'm gonna post at RealGM anymore, its unbearable when the Bulls lose.
  2. http://media.npr.org/assets/img/2009/11/09/ap89111001348_slide-73c82e0f3c6e88fb9ce68991028afa61120c5144-s6-c30.jpg
  3. We should have traded Rose and kept Nate Robinson #meatballtalk
  4. its over, move on
  5. Bulin in net tonight unfortunately.
  6. Cutty said he hopes to be back before the 4 weeks.
  7. The Pacers depth compared to the Bulls is what worries me in a potential playoff matchup. Pacers have a lot of different parts they can use depending on the situation. The other thing that worries me obviously is the Bulls health. I just have a hard time believing that the key players on the Bulls are going to be healthy come playoff time. Noah is banged up every year heading into the playoffs, Rose was banged up quite a bit even before the ACL tear, Deng has his injury issues too, and Hinrich has a new injury every 2 games or so. Because of the lack of depth, any injury to Rose, Noah or Deng is going to hurt badly. I think it would be a slight advantage to the Bulls if both teams went into a series completely healthy, but that could change in either direction depending on a number of variables during the season (i.e. how well Granger fits into the mix if/when healthy, how Vogel is able to use his depth, how much George improves, Rose's comeback, how well Boozer and Taj bounce back from subpar seasons, etc etc)
  8. See I'd think that with most players, but Meriweather has been a notorious headhunter for the better part of a decade now. Dude obviously has a screw loose. The answer is, how about you don't concuss anyone OR take their knees out? Obviously sometimes it happens, and it sucks but its part of the game. But for a player who has been going constantly selling out on his tackles in order to add another big hit to his collection to make a sarcastic 'I can't concuss them, I guess I have to blow out their knees now' comment is pathetic.
  9. He hardly "owned" him. No, he owned him. Basically, Marshall opens himself to that any time he publicly criticizes anyone else for the rest of his life. He deflected the attention that his consistent barrage of head hunting illegal hits has gotten him by changing the conversation. And then whatever "ownage" he got over Marshall was lost when he basically admitted he was going to try to take out players knees instead of going after their heads. I'm pretty sure the point he's making is that the rules are going to result in more lower body injuries because defensive players are being left with no other option. It's not, "Well screw them, if I can't hurt dudes in the head I'm going to bust up their knees now." It's a flimsy one for him to use since he was just cheap shotting guys anyway, but it's a valid point and one that has been made by others before him. I'm sure that's what he was attempting to say too but the quotes look a lot more sinister:
  10. You must have been pissed that Stacy got injured late in the game and didnt get those goal line carries. He probably has a better chance of punching it in than Richardson.
  11. Yup. Merriweather is a dirty douche but he pretty much owned Marshall there.
  12. Glad those jerkass Canadians didn't rig the Stanley Cup finals in favor of #Bostonstrong.
  13. Lost last week by 0.46 points About to lose this week by 0.44 points 0-2 with a combined point differential of 0.9 points.... Instead of 5-3 and in 3rd place, I'll be 3-5 and tied for 8th. HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN?? [expletive] MNF.
  14. Meriweather-Marshall thing is still happening. http://deadspin.com/brandon-meriweather-to-brandon-marshall-at-least-i-don-1453435558 What a douche
  15. Right, I'm guessing the rooftops havent made nearly as much profit in the recent down years, and it might make sense to take the lump sum and sell rather than hope the Cubs get better and they enjoy a few years of increased profits before shutting down, especially because they are sort of holding the team back from competing with their potential lawsuit.
  16. http://chicagotonight.wttw.com/2013/10/24/source-cubs-could-buy-rooftops That would be ideal I guess.
  17. If the Bears somehow won this, GB, Detroit and Chicago would all be: -5-3 overall -1-1 head to head (GB beat Detroit and would lose to Chi, Chi beat GB and lose to Det, Det beat Chi and lose to GB) -2-1 in the division -2-1 in common games (Chi beat Cin and Min and lost to Was, GB and Det both beat Was and Min and lost to Cin) But Detroit would be 4-2 in Conference, with GB 3-2 and Chicago 3-3 so that would be the order of standings. I really wanted to somehow prove the Bears would be leading the division with a win this weekend but alas I can't).
  18. Was just looking at the BCS rankings, and noticed that Sagin in his computer rankings has NIU 3rd. How is that allowed to happen?
  19. The guy who took all the touchdowns away from AJ Green and thus send me to a probable fantasy loss
  20. Maybe Rodgers will tear his ACL or something tonight so we only lose by 10
  21. Noah says he's 100% going to play Tuesday in Miami. Says he's been pain free for 4-5 days and Thibs held him out against Denver on Friday.
  22. From my facebook feed: 2 fan bases, 2 different perspectives: Cardinals: Red Sox:
  23. btw that was a shitty ass ending, but damn that was bizarre, I missed the obstruction call, and saw the runner tagged out at the plate, got excited about extra innings and then saw the Cardinals rushing to the plate to celebrate. Quite confusing and bizarre.
