  1. I remember when the Bears had a good special teams. Of course its easy to remember because it was good without fail for the last decade under Toub.
  2. McCown looking meh so far, although the Vikings pass rush not making it easy on him.
  3. they must have missed it, im sure there was one
  4. Does not bode well for my fantasy football team considering I already lost David Wilson, Julio Jones, Randall Cobb, Mike James, Brian Cushing, Ahmad Bradshaw, and now possibly Rodgers. Sad part... I'm in 3rd right now and could be in 2nd with a win this week or still be in 3rd with a loss. Speaking of fantasy football... pick 1 of these 3 RBs to start this week: Lamar Miller vs Jets (no more Daniel Thomas), Donald Brown vs Titans (now the starter), or Jonathan Stewart (D Will is out and Tolbert is banged up) I have Miller in right now because he has NOBODY taking his touches now. I'd have started Donald Brown. The Dolphins running game is in shambles right now with the 2 O-Lineman out, and they've been bailing on the run game early in games lately.
  5. I don't know why but I have a feeling the Bears win today. Something like 35-24
  6. Kind of depressing to see Rose's Skull Candy commercial with a message at the end that says "We all face challenges #SupportDRose" (but not as depressing as watching the Bulls since Rose went down)
  7. I don't necessarily think their playoff chances are slim, but they aren't great. They were a 5-2 team with Rodgers, and their remaining games are at home vs. Atlanta, at Dallas, at home vs. Pittsburgh, and at Chicago. I think they could easily win all 4.
  8. Sounds like he will still get some solid playing time though
  9. Right. I believe there are still 3 teams that can match or surpass our point total by winning their games in hand but were still in a great position 1/3 of the way into the season
  10. I think NIU should be in the title game
  11. 20-4-4....second best start in Hawks history. Wonder when the best start was? :) 6-1-0 on the road trip with 10 goals allowed.
  12. [expletive] pissing this one away
  13. Heh. I hate when I turn on the game late and it's 3-0 already but at the same time I kind of like it.
  14. Forget just the FG attempt, Alabama seemed to be in control of that game. 3 missed FGs, a 4th and 1 that wasn't converted at the 15 yard line when a FG would have made it a 2 possession game with ~4:30. Then Saban is kind of running out the clock by running 3 draw plays in a row, the last of which happens to go for 20+ yards and puts the team in Hail Mary range except the clock expires. I've never seen a clock ruling overturned before but in this case somehow it happens. Just an amazing crazy game and finish.
  15. That would have caused unspeakable chaos and would have sent the BCS out on a high note. SOB.
  16. But I really hate them.
  17. [expletive] Ohio going to the BCS title game. Just because all arch rivals of my teams have to achieve success. Now I have to cheer for [expletive] MSU.
  18. Roll Tide!
  19. Brady Hoke is 2-4 against MSU/OSU
  20. Oh well, I was all for going for 2 there. Really sucks to fail but you get a chance to ruin OSU's season and give Meyer his first loss you do it especially when you can't stop the run in OT
  21. I want this win so badly. I need this win.
  22. Ok Bears need to win or face being down 2 games in the division with 4 to play in the only playoff spot that is available.
  23. We will always remember the 1.5 good games you had in your career Matt Flynn
  24. Football Outsiders projects the Bears to win the NFC north and get the 4 seed based on the games they have left on the schedule. Only 43.0% chance of making the playoffs overall though vs 42.9% for the Lions and 19.9% for the Packers.
  25. Maybe its because the players of my teenage years are on the ballot but I could vote for like 20 players on that ballot, especially if you ignore steroids and HGH.
