    Momentum is a myth. The Blackhawks might get their butts handed to them for five more periods, or they might turn it around any minute. We'll know when they play it out. It's not momentum it's the Kings utterly dominating us in all phases. At this point it's questioning if they are just better and/or Hawks have just run out of steam.

    Yeah they looked terrible against Detroit but mostly offensively and mostly because they were abusing us. This is the Kings skating circles around us, plus the defense making numerous gaffes, both special teams units failing miserably and our goalie playing like complete [expletive]. It's complete and utter failure.

    Hmm. kings have been the comeback kids this playoffs coming back from 0-3 and 2-3. Wouldn't it be great to see their season end by blowing a 3-1 lead? I'm grasping for straws here...

    Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of the Hawks comeback starting against the Wings. Not sure why I'm pointing that out other than the fact that the Hawks are dangerously close to being in the same situation.

    It is. Just sucks because we seemed to be rolling. Up 1-0, up 2-0 and outplaying the Kings we'll into the 2nd period in game 2 and then all the sudden the Kings flipped the switch and have out scored the Hawks 12-3 in the last 4.5 periods. Pure domination.

    Last year the defending champs played the Hawks and only won their first home game in a 5 game series This year the defending champs play the kings and....

    I am not sure what a dynasty is anymore, but I would think if the Hawks could even win 4 cups in 8-10 yrs that would be pretty great with the current NHL rules and cap. I think they are in great position to compete for the Cup for several more years Yeah I don't think 3 titles in 5 years is anywhere close to a dynasty. But I have high standards for what a dynasty is. Anyways the remark about lost chance because of inferior east team waiting doesn't mean much to me as I think the East representative has been inferior pretty much the last decade or so except maybe Boston. Anyways like I said last night, we've been down in a series at least 3 games in 4 of our last 7 playoff series and we won the first 3. Doesn't mean we will win this one. Just means this team has an amazing ability to show new life when the chips are down. I thought we looked like absolute [expletive] in game 3 against Boston and we didn't lose another game all season. Hawks are good enough to win this series so hopefully they find that extra gear and shut up the doubters once again.

    I just have the worst luck. Hawks 3-5 when I can watch the game. 6-1 when I can't. 3 wins were G3 STL, G1-2 MIN. One loss was G4 MIN
