    The Cubs bullpen has by far the best ERA in baseball since the start of July. I mean they probably aren’t as good as they’ve been over that span but it’s not April anymore, they are pretty good

    So we stranded the leadoff triple and scored 0 runs in an inning where we had 3 hits from 4 hitters. Definitely seen these types of games before and they don’t always end well.

    I have a soft spot for Wisdom but yeah, feels like its about time to cut ties whether its now or in the offseason.

    Wisdom seems to only be effective in PH situations this year. Hasn't started a game in 10 days and only 2 PA over that span...seems strange for him to hit 2nd. Not that it matters today.

    God it sucks that we've blown like 15 games with late leads this year. If we could have held the lead in like 3 or 4 of those games, this season would have so much more promise.

    I mean it really looks like the White Sox don't give a horsefeathers at all out there. I understand why, but its jarring to see.

    That Dansby bloop hit feels like one of those situations where if the Sox werent 61 games under .500 Robert might have tried a little harder to make the catch.

    Points are valid but I'm wondering why you are even watching highlights from a preseason game 3 years ago lol

    Ugh you guys seem way too excited about things like they haven't trampled our spirits like 40 different times this year.

    Why now? Why not 2 months ago? I mean fine they get a headstart on looing for a replacement but seems like strange timing when there were plenty of opportunities to fire him all season. You couldn't just recently have come to the decision that he's not the guy could you have? My only guess is that they were planning on wait until the end of the season, but since they are so bad they are now threatening to break all time records for futility, they have decided to see if an interim manager can provide some sort of spark to spare them the embarrassment of losing 120 games

    We won so silly to be too negative but watching the highlights since I was at work and frustrating that both Twins runs potentially came on gaffes from the defense. In the first PCA airmailed both cutoff men when it looked like the Cubs had a play at the plate if he hits one of them. On the other Bethancourt tries to back pick the runner at 3rd (is it called a back pick when the throw goes to 3rd?) and the throw is errant, allowing the runner on 1st to advance to 2nd. The AB ends with a likely double play ball to end the inning but instead is just a single out with a run scoring

    Was there really a question? I can understand not playing the HOF game, most people don’t play in that, but a rookie starting QB is almost certainly getting at least a series or two in the first real preseason game

    Hard Knocks thoughts? Decent episode. Seems like the team likes each other. They didn’t do a ton of spotlighting fringe roster guys. Just the Canadian dude who got hurt and won’t be a factor again, and the 3rd and 4th string QBs a little bit. Those fringe player spotlights have been some of my favorite parts of past seasons.
