  1. Before the joke responses come in... bulls media day
  2. Three ratings on PFF released: Bennett: +6.4 Houston -2.6 Ola +5.2
  3. Might as well post this. D'Angelo Williams is week to week with an injury and Jonathan Stewart was out last week, don't know about this week. Funny thing is that the Bears have been good at stopping the run lately. Newton will be passing a lot which is probably not good. Carolina opens up as 2.5 point favorites Ahh what the hell. Bears 26 Panthers 24
  4. Haha Malort. It's part of Chicago culture. No one really likes it but they embrace it as uniquely Chicagoan
  5. To add to this, JJ Watt alone had 9 QB hits today.
  6. Sweeeet this would mean Packers/Miami would be broadcast on FOX in the Chicago market. http://www.thesportsbank.net/core/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/jay-cutler-dont-care.jpg
  7. Royals over A's Giants over Pirates Royals over Angels in 4 Orioles over Tigers in 5 Nationals over Giants in 5 Dodgers over Cardinals in 4 Orioles over Royals in 6 Dodgers over Nationals in 7 Dodgers over Orioles in 5
  8. Chargers and Cardinals had young good defenses in place. I guess that still matters more than we thought?
  9. Bears had one garbage time sack and no hits today. Reading an article by Jeff Dickerson that the Bears game plan was to rush 4 all game because they thought they could get pressure since Rodgers was sacked 9 times in the first 3 games. Ok whatever but why no adjustments as it became clear that Rodgers was not seeing any pressure. Halftime adjustments seemed minimal and the game got away from us quickly after that.
  10. Wasted offense under Trestman. Bears are 2-0 when they are out gained and 0-2 when they get more yards. 2-0 on the road and 0-2 at home. Weird season so far.
  11. Rizzo finishes with a .912 OPS, which is 7th in the MLB and 3rd in the NL. 32 home runs which is 9th in baseball and 2nd in the NL. If he didn't miss almost 3 weeks he could have been challenging Stanton for the league lead. Can't say enough about the season he had and I shudder to imagine what it might look like if he improves.
  12. I hope so but I doubt it. Cam will torch this team. Cam might night be able to get out of bed this week. He's beat to hell That's fine because the Bears plan on letting him sit in the pocket unscathed all game.
  13. Sweet. Larger audience to watch devin Hester torch us Edit: right as I say that he catches a TD pass
  14. Several times? Based on statistics at least, last year he was fine...he had 7 catches for 107 yards and a TD in one game and 6 catches for 74 yards and a TD in the other. He was bad his first year as a Bear, but still had one game with 54 yards and a TD. As a Dolphin in 2010, he had 10 catches for 127 yards.
  15. was hoping to find i had correctly guessed 73, but i'll still mark this down as a success That was pretty close except Rizzo was better than just good and Baez was a .225 OBP player that was not particularly exciting after his few few weeks.
  16. Less than 90 losses! Next year less than 80 losses The year after, World Series championship.
  17. And Baez ends his season with a bang - K #95
  18. Oh snap I remember that now that you mention it. I almost forgot there was a [expletive] load of awesome in the first half before it all got wasted by the second half
  19. Guess we shouldn't add Wisconsin/Northwestern or Marquette/DePaul to that.
  20. Re: Bennett, I would hope so About Marshall: that was a really really shitty time for that to happen. But it's Marshall, I can't be too mad Just wish our team would [expletive] beat our rivals. That said, it's just one game and there are 12 left to play
  21. Bears are 12-33 against the Packers since 1992 Curse. How many of those Bears wins came against QBs not named Rodgers or Favre? Mmm wallowing in misery.... Err...none of them
  22. Probably blames himself for that game changing INT
  23. You don't think they can win in Carolina? I'm not very confident in them next weekend. Carolina has been destroyed the last 2 weeks. I'm not saying I feel great but I think they have a decent shot at winning
  24. Bears are 12-33 against the Packers since 1992
