    Hahahaha what in the hell. I know this is obvious but I want to lay it all out -Marshall said this on a weekly tv show which he is paid to...speak to members of the media -He also signed with ESPN 1000 to alternate weekly with Jay Cutler on his weekly radio show -Finally let's not forget the 45 minute press conference/rant he went out of his way to hold Brandon Marshall....who you crappin? People someone call this in or email it.

    So many guys like that, the game sort of fell back to their level in the post PED era. Good point. It kind of feels like I'm watching an HD game from the 80s right now given the teams and their respective lineups. Almost expecting Bob Welch to take the mound for Oakland.

    Makes sense. Good division, with no teams under .500 and the Bears lost a home game in the division. That can swing things in a big way. very big considering they had the best odds last week (although the Bears, Packers and Lions were all pretty close)

    Looking back at the Shark trade.....at the time the Cubs were 38-46, and the A's 55-33. After the trade, the Cubs went 35-43, and the A's went 35-41. That means that Shark (and Hammel) were on a team for 160 games this year, and that "team" went....73-87, and now Shark is going to the playoffs.

    Grantland does a nice writeup of the game tonight.     I think that the Michigan mob at this point is trying for a 2-for-1 Hoke and Brandon firing at this point so at this point it's about making the entire program look incompetent and careless.

    The whole situation is embarrassing for Michigan. They waited until 1 am ET to release Brandon's statement saying Morris had a concussion and somehow Hoke, the coaching staff and the athletic trainers didn't see the hit and subsequent wobble by Morris. They let Hoke speak at a press conference yesterday where he only addresses the ankle injury and claims he has no knowledge of a concussion. Brandon says they will have a medical update late in the day which is snuck out at 1 am despite UM blog rumors that the administration knew Morris had a concussion before Hokes PC.

    I wonder if the Thunder will get one of those strips... I think they said that they would not wear one. For those franchises that moved, it's their choice. For instance I believe the Hawks and Kings will both wear it.

    Why are people rooting for the Pirates? Sure I'd rather them win than the Cardinals and Dodgers but they are division rivals who beat us annoyingly too frequently. Last year it was cute to see them in the playoffs after a long absence but this year they might as well be the Brewers or Reds to me.

    Might as well post this. D'Angelo Williams is week to week with an injury and Jonathan Stewart was out last week, don't know about this week. Funny thing is that the Bears have been good at stopping the run lately. Newton will be passing a lot which is probably not good. Carolina opens up as 2.5 point favorites Ahh what the hell.
