So hard to predict in the NFL. The Bears are definitely trending downward and they are playing probably the 2 toughest divisions in football next year (AFC and NFC West) but with a good draft and some luck they could make it next year. More realistically Jeffery, Long and Fuller will be on that team. Not sure who else.

How does a special teams guy not know that you can't be the first one to touch the ball after running out of bounds? I'm sick of all the stupid unnecessary mental gaffes.

Keep forgetting this game is on tonight. I think that 2009 MNF game against the Vikings was the last time I was this unexcited about a Bears primetime game.

Hilton's a pretty tough place to play, even when they're bad. With a ranked team coming in it will surely be loud. Yeah I would say one of the tougher places to play in the nation, particularly when Iowa State is good.

In terms of organizational infrastructure, we are very good to elite in almost all areas of baseball operations except the ballpark and actual players (and both are quickly improving). Elite President of baseball operations, elite GM, elite Manager, elite bench coach (from what understand), elite Spring Training Facility, elite Dominican Baseball Academy, elite Scouting, elite analytics department etc

I haven't checked in about a week but goal differential should be close to 30 by now? Very close...29 Hawks have allowed the 2nd fewest goals in hockey, and are only one behind Nashville who has played one game less. In terms of goals for, they are 3rd in the West and 7th in the NHL but with 3 straight 4-1 victories, that number is rising. -

After a slow start, Hawks now have the best goal differential in the NHL. Now only 1 pt behind Nashville and St. Louis for first in the division. -

I now hate the playoff scenario generator. In the last few minutes I managed to find a scenario where the Bears get a 5 seed at 8-8, and another scenario where the Bears and Vikings are the 2 wild card teams. Of course those will never happen, Detroit won't lose out, the Seahawks won't lose out, etc but its still annoying to play around with this thing, and I probably will even more if we win tonight.

That's actually as probable as any long-shot scenario could possibly be. Arizona is probably favored this week, but if they lose they'll likely be underdogs the final 3 weeks. Dallas just got blown out by Philly and the Colts can score with anyone. Switch Dallas w/ Niners, Philly w/ Seattle, and Chargers w/ Colts and the same holds true for #4. yeah the most difficult part of that scenario is the whole 'Bears win their last 4 games'

Yeah, I'm not going to sweat this at all until I hear some corroboration. I agree nothing to worry about yet, but there has been talk of a mystery team for over a week now so it's possible that team is the Yankees
