    Nice hit by Montero. Mendy needs to start hitting to stay in the lineup. I know he's walked 4 times but it seems like he's either striking out or making weak contact the rest of the time.

    Series starts on Wednesday at 7:30, then games every other day. Games 2 and 4 are at 8:30, game 3 at 2PM. The rest of the game times are TBD. I'll take Hawks in 6, Wild in 7, Ducks in 7 and Cancuks in 6

    I don't understand why there has to even be a reason. I mean everyone knows what the Cubs are doing. Something about good faith in employment laws or something. It's deeper than the CBA itself. But the labor laws were collectively bargained? How can the PA argue that the Cubs are doing wrong when they agreed to these rules? I understand everyone thinks it's shittt but so is paying some players way under market value their first 5 years in the league.

    I don't understand why there has to even be a reason. I mean everyone knows what the Cubs are doing and they aren't the first person to do it. I'm sure he wants to avoid a grievence being filed and things getting ugly but the dude is playing by the rules and everyone knows he will be up in a week.

    Hawks and Preds are going to go in their series combining for 10 straight losses. 4 for Chicago, 6 for Nashville. At least this one was completely meaningless, but I really wanted at least a point going into the playoffs even if none of the guys gave a [expletive].

    Bullpen has been awesome outside of Schlitter who won't be here long. Offense has been having good ABs and has had bad BABIP luck. And I don't care how many years in a row we've struggled with RISP, I will still believe it will even out.

    completely agreed, though if jonmdavis hears us say it we will likely take up residence on the bottom of lake michigan very soon. now that dude jumped ship completely No joke - saw him at Wrigley on opening night. WTF so he just doesn't like us anymore? seriously though i remembered you saying that he said he just didn't like baseball anymore or something. how random that you'd run into him. I follow him on Twitter. He does a bunch of youtube videos of Northwestern football/basketball games. Also Pat Hughes is awesome
