    They can't get him up to Chicago tonight to play tomorrow? well, he was just playing baseball in new orleans as of 8pm central, so i assume the absolute earliest flight he could've caught was 10pm, and i doubt that there are flights from new orleans to chicago at that hour. my not-so-exhaustive research suggests that the earliest he could arrive in chicago (flying commercial obviously) is 12:40pm, leaving new orleans at 10:08am. They can charter a plane if they really want him to play tomorrow

    i highly doubt that they kept trotting olt out there as a pinch hitter knowing that he had a hairline fracture in his wrist. Yeah seriously. And it's not like they didn't have multiple players they could have either DL'd or sent down. Could have DLed Olt, La Stella or Ramriez, could have sent down Rosscup or Schlitter

    Not necessarily. He could easily take a couple of ABs leave the game and head to Chicago. Plus the fact that he's playing DH is interesting almost like they don't want him to exert himself too much. Of course the other side of that is that they are planning on playing him in both double header games, the second game in the field.

    He managed to turn around a situation where he was forced to gut a Cup winning roster that had dire cap issues due to his predecisor, and in 4 years got them another Cup, within a bad bounce of likely a second Cup and (hopefully) an extended run this year. He's made his mistakes for sure, Crawford's contract is going to kill them this offseason, trading Leddy looks idiotic when you see what he's done with more playing time in NY and what we are left with on the ice. Vermette was one of the top targets out there at the deadline and the Hawks were praised for the move. I'm not sure why he hasn't fit in, but it wasn't a terrible move when it was made. Another thing that I always hear is that Q has a lot of say on player transactions. Yes Bowman is ultimately accountable, but its unlikely that Bowman forced Vermette on him without his approval. I could see people being lukewarm on him, but to suggest he's done nothing is silly.

    OK I just watched another replay of the first Nashville goal, can anyone give any justifcation as to what Rozival was doing on that play? Wilson is coming up along the boards, Rozival backskating but plenty ahead of him (photo 1), Keith is parallel to Wilson but closer to the center of the ice. http://i.imgur.com/857T2y1.jpg The somehow inexplicably, Rozival slows down cuts to the inside AWAY from Wilson, and actually sets a pick on Keith, slowing him down as well. (photo 2) http://i.imgur.com/6pD5CUZ.jpg The result is by the time Rozival turns around, Wilson is ahead of him, and Keith is trailing well behind and basically a non factor in the play (photo 3) http://i.imgur.com/yhL4oMp.jpg He is still kept to the outside so its not the idea angle for a shot, but its a good shot attempt that never should have happened and as a result goes in for a goal. One of the strangest plays I've seen. Edit

    Not technically strip clubs but there are two lingerie clubs in Covington KY. They are called the Brass Bull and the Brass Ass(Yes those are the names). The girls are ugly, and they will ask you for dollars to play in the juke box if you get a lap dance from one of them as they don't have a DJ. I have a friend that went to one of those (yes, really a friend not me) and heard some bizarre things about the women at one of them. I will say no more because I hope that one day Theo will come on here and do a chat and don't want to scare him off.

    Psssh, I remember that year you were a Hawks fan, and then when they sucked you switched to being a Flyers fan. Now the Flyers suck so you pretend hockey doesn't exist? I "followed" the Flyers because the girl I was dating at the time was a big time Flyers fan. I have not even attempted to follow hockey since like... 2008? OK, at least you were doing it for the right reasons. You are forgiven.

    I disagree. Q said the decision would be easy. I think that means it's Crawford. You can take that both ways. Easy meaning you go with your veteran starter or easy meaning you go with the guy that stood on his head and pitched a nearly 4 period shutout in his first playoff appearance.
