  1. They still have to wait for the Habs-Lightning series to end though. Right. That was a "if everything ends as soon as it can" scenario. Obviously that can't happen now. Now they have to wait for Caps-Rangers game 7 as well. So Thursday would be the earliest they could play if TB won tomorrow. If Montreal wins tomorrow the series would probably start on Friday
  2. It is what it is. If were good enough we will play well. If were not then this was a transition year anyways. Even at 21-28 there's still plenty of time to improve. I expect the team to be a lot better in September than it is currently.
  3. I would guess it's only a technical ofthe refs acknowledge it and stop play.
  4. I found it odd that Thibs kept (I believe) that same lineup out there for almost the entire 8 minutes of scorelessness. Figured you'd start trying something different after the first 10 missed shots in awhile. Oh well, definitely a positive that we are only down 4. If we can shoot well in the second half I like our chances.
  5. The Cubs are trying to bring back 2001, one crappy pitcher at a time. Time for some accountability. I expect changes very soon.
  6. http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=sta&lg=all&qual=0&type=8&season=2015&month=0&season1=2015&ind=0&team=0,ts&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0 That's so odd. I could swear I read the exact opposite the other day which is what I was basing my observation off of. my bad
  7. Our starting pitching freaking blows this year
  8. Yeah well the Cubs are undefeated on my birthday!
  9. I changed all the settings to receive notifications (not email) and am still not getting them. Oh well
  10. [hidden]can we allow swearing on members only posts??[/hidden]
  11. I'm able to zoom in/out just fine...
  12. If you are a prosilver person, it should be nearly the same. If you're a subsilver person and haven't switched back, I've posted instructions twice. If you're just being Derwood, then carry on. He's definitely being Derwood. The only thing I would think to complain about on mobile is when making a post all the smilies and different formatting options are all spewed out at the top so you have to scroll down a bit to write your message. But other than that it's great.
  13. Yes!!! We can embed YouTube videos too!! Edit: whoops already noted. Oh well I just wanted to post that video
  14. dunno. I've quoted you. did you get a notification? Nope. I'm sure there's a way to set it that way. The forum looks to be the same version as RealGMs
  15. Also of note: @frank_seravalli: With Hawks win, #Flyers' conditional 2016 pick moved from 4th round to 3rd. It can go to 2nd if Hawks advance to SCF & Timonen plays 1/2 gms
  16. I see there are notifications...do you get a notification when someone quotes a post of yours like RealGM? That would be cool.
  17. I think I read that if the Ducks win Sunday the WCF could start Tuesday in Anaheim.
  18. Preferably one where you don't almost blow a big lead. And one with a Bryant home run
  19. I'm just shocked it's mobile optimized.
  20. What in the [expletive] [expletive]?
  21. Yeah they've hit like 7 straight 3s until that Lebron miss and are shooting 10-21 for the game. There's your difference.
  22. Blackhawks announce Rozival fractured his ankle and needs surgery, done for the year.
  23. This is actually very interesting stuff. He was basically fired, and it literally did happen spur of the moment - Simmons was tweeting out links to promote his grantland content literally minutes before the news broke. Skipper didn't even let him leave gracefully saying it was on mutual terms, he said that he personally decided to end negotiations. The question I have is, did they actually cancel his contract, meaning he is free to go elsewhere immediately? I highly doubt given the reasoning and emotion behind Skippers decision that Simmons will be allowed to post new content or have anything to do with Grantland. So are they allowed to basically just shelf him until his contract runs out in 4 months? This would cause him to miss the rest of the NBA playoffs and the buildup to and first month of the NFL season which is typically the times that Simmons produces the most content. Also interesting, how does this news effect his next contract? I'm assuming he will probably lose some money, or worse yet for him power, in his negotiations. It's possible someone like Bleacher Report might just throw a boatload of cash and editorial freedom at Simmons, but then he loses the ability to be on TV and produce stuff similar to 30 for 30. So does he take less to go to someone like Fox Sports, who I'm assuming is desperate to gain viewers to their station. They might be the controversial but popular Simmons as the person who can do just that.
