  1. Michigan doesn't have enough QBs yet, I think they should get him.
  2. Soler has a lower OWAR for the year than David Ross :banghead:
  3. *yawn* Rizzo just hitting .341/.474/.593/1.068 this year in 26 games. He is a freaking monster.
  4. You just don't like the DH because it's not part of the Right WayTM to play baseball as dictated Tony LaRussa.
  5. Gallo hit his first home run last night. The bastard stole your jinx. Good, then Bryant is due for one today.
  6. Maddon was awesome after the game. That is some good leadership right there.
  7. Wtf Rizzo didn't looked pissed at all after that Castro thing. Wtf is that Cardinals inbred talking about?
  8. Why do I feel like we lost? Lol CUBS DEFEAT SATAN AND ALL HIS EVIL WAYS
  9. Don't worry that K was just to set up the backbreaking 2 strike HR
  10. Is it a rule that you have to grow facial hair like a douchebag when you join the Cardinals so that you can appeal to their redneck fans?
  11. So in Strops last 3 outings he's loaded the bases with 0 outs, loaded the bases with 0 outs and gotten runners on 1st and 2nd and 1 out.
  12. There has to be a way. There has to be a way they always come through with RISP and 2 outs. There has to be some attribute or something that only the Cardinals know about. It defies explanation
  13. I thought the Cavs had an elite defense based on statistics? No, that was never the case with any statistic. I guess someone on realgm sold me some [expletive] They did have the 10th best defensive efficiency in the league from Jan 15 on, basically when the acquired Mozgov so not exactly a bad defense
  14. I thought the Cavs had an elite defense based on statistics?
  15. This game reminds me of game 1 except it was the Bulls who couldn't miss.
  16. We are struggling on offense. A guy who averaged 25 PPG for an entire month for this same team 6 weeks ago has just now with 1 minute left in the half checked in
  17. Noah is shooting 7% from the FT line in the playoffs. I'm not missing a number. 7%
  18. You get his first name spelled correctly but you can't remember the very common last name part?
  19. Kawhi Leonard? Marc Gasol maybe? Obvious one that comes to mind that isn't very recent is Arenas. Marc Gasol is a good one. He was always a project with upside, but I don't think the Lakers had any idea he would become an all-star when he was included as a throw in for Pau Gasol. I don't think Leonard or Arenas count, at least with how I'm interpreting the question as a player who had been in the NBA a few years and was clearly not thought of as an all-star or had the ability to become an all-star, suddenly becoming one.
  20. Example of how not to post as a rival fan: search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&author_id=10642&start=125 You're fine, and I'm sure the illini fans on the board will like you as long as you enjoy self pity Edit: Also its good to know that you sustain yourself on the tears of Cubs fans.
  21. That's fine it just makes them look like idiots when they do it as he's shutting them out and putting them on the brink of elimination.
  22. Because Kyrie is a league mandated superstar, was the number 1 pick, is a little flashier, and LeBron chose to play with him so he must be awesome. Jimmy is like an upstart...last pick of the first round, spent his first 3 years as a 3D guy, wasn't ever expected to be a star by the general public until this year, and is only now starting to change the perception. People recognize him as good, but it will take some time to be considered great. The crazy thing about Butler is that he started the year on a tear, and I think he's actually gotten better at the end of the season. At midseason I thought he was a star but not going to be the kind of star you feed the ball to down the stretch to make things happen...but its happened multiple times this playoffs, alternating with Rose, and he's delivered.
