  1. Cardinals will coast to best record in baseball and then fall fat on their faces in the NLDS
  2. Eat a bag of dicks Haha. Whatever you say little brother. Haha like anyone from that [expletive] bag city has the right to call a Chicagoan little brother. I'd much rather root for my sad sack franchise then cheer amongst you yokels. Plus I guess I'd kind of get sick of mourning one of my active players dying every couple of months.
  3. This is the most Cardinals series ever
  4. Bryant is something like 5 for his last 34 with a K rate around 40. Of course he single handedly won a game for us during that stretch so he's still and will forever be awesome.
  5. if only your name was spelled Addissonn you too could be clutch like my boy Donn Roach
  6. Seriously...1-54 in the minors and 2-5 in MLB
  7. Roach is 1-54 lifetime in the minors But 1-4 with a double in the MLB
  8. Ok Baxter. I cannot make fun of you anymore because you've been hitting too much. Normally this is the part when you'd fall off a cliff and go 1 for your next 24. Prove me wrong
  9. Maybe if starlin wasn't so unfocused and lazy he could have been more accurate with his aim
  10. Meh what's the use Im sure whatever unheard of pitcher they'd replace him with would be even better than Wacha
  11. Somewhere there's some irrational cardinals fan bitching about the Cubs unbelievable luck
  12. Hmm wasn't expecting our first move to be adding salary but trading our 3rd goalie for a young forward isn't a bad move Edit: also certainly a two way contract
  13. Maddon did fine tonight - the pinch hitters did well, and I thought the bullpen was managed properly. It was his decision last Sunday to let Arrieta finish that may have cost us this game. Right. The reason he was pulled after 99 pitches is because we let him finish in a blowout his last start. That decision to go for statistics helped cost us a win tonight
  14. Shut up just shut up you just ruined baseball for me you ass I have been just ignoring the Cardinals existence this season. Well, except when we play them, which makes it so much worse. I am just begging the Nationals or Dodgers to catch them so we won't have to play the Cardinals in the Division Series. Playing the Cardinals in the postseason is like my worst nightmare. I wouldn't enjoy one second of it until the final out was made if we somehow managed to end up on the winning side. Yup. Even if the Cubs were up 17-0 in game 3 up 2-0 in the series I would hate every minute until the last out was made and then it would become the best thing ever
  15. I was against it when the Cardinals of course benefitted from it in the very first season and came within 2 games of a title because of it.
  16. Ok seriously can we do something to avoid Herrera, Szczur or Ross to ever having to PH again?
  17. Chill out its 3 games with one against satans minions Yeah Donn Roach is pitching tomorrow What does that have to do with the Cubs "not being so good"? He's like their 10th starter on the organization depth chart just starting out of complete luck. And besides, Ryan O'Malley once happened After beating Grienke and Kershaw, they're probably going to get out of this homestand 3-4 or 2-5. That's...not good. Ok wtf you obviously didn't watch the game otherwise you'd have see the giant arch in the background
  18. Shut up just shut up you just ruined baseball for me you ass
  19. Actually it has absolutely nothing to do with that. I just really really really hate the cardinals and I want to see them and their fans go through extreme physical and mental pain
  20. A liner into the corner isn't a fluky double. The rest I can agree with. Although it really wasn't that tough of a play for Russell to make. I didn't actually see the hit, but I was mostly referring to the player that hit it
  21. Chill out its 3 games with one against satans minions Yeah Donn Roach is pitching tomorrow What does that have to do with the Cubs "not being so good"? He's like their 10th starter on the organization depth chart just starting out of complete luck. And besides, Ryan O'Malley once happened Edit: also there's a non zero chance one of the Cardinals dies overnight and the game is cancelled so just wait and see
  22. It's like every time you convince yourself that it's all just a fluke, confirmation bias, it's not really as it seems, and then you play them again and guys you've never heard of hit HRs and balls go off bases etc and the anger comes rushing back
  23. Chill out its 3 games with one against satans minions
  24. Of course, flukey double, grounder off a base and dribbler past the pitcher. Typical cardinals win
