    I hope Toronto gets their crap together. Although it's fun to laugh at their follies, the NHL is a better league when the Leafs are good. At least I think so. It's been awhile since that's been the case (other than that outlier year where they almost beat the Bruins in the playoffs)

    I don't know but when just almost every hitter is underperforming expectations or career norms you have to wonder if something is wrong with their instruction.

    Fowler is like Willie Mays Hayes in Major League 2...too many swings with an upper cut to them.

    Sacrifice flies and bunts don't count as ABs but do count as PAs. So it's a PA where you fail to reach base.

    Definitely not when he's still 21 and has played less than 75 career games above AA. He's shown flashes and has too much talent to not succeed imo.

    Len is a workaholic. I think he's found a way to work every fox or espn game either on the radio or actually broadcasting the game

    Apparently his contract had a stipulation that he had to be added to the Pirates 25 man roster by a certain date or get dealt/released

    My favorite part was Len talking about how Maddon praised Herrera for his bunting and then seconds later he lays down a terrible bunt that gets the lead runner.

    Yeah all the great hitters such as Jonathan Herrera and Mike Baxter that are getting big playing time You must have misread and thought I said every hitter is good

    Seriously fire the hitting coach. Probably an overreaction but there are too many good hitters on this team to be anemic for this long of a period

    Not sure if you are talking about the contract or how everything played out. For the latter they basically rented him to the Hawks for 3 months for a 1st and two 2nds (right?) and he returned with championship experience. And he might play the last year of that deal in Las Vegas!

    1 run allowed in 29 innings this series...crazy....11 runs allowed to the mets in 7 games this year
