I was going to say same thing but didn't want to get yelled at. It's a personal accomplishment and would be nice for him. But just give me the win. Why not both? That's the beauty of no hitters. Tell that to Ken Johnson. I knew someone was going to mention that. 99.99% of no hitters

I'm sure a cursory glance at stats would tell me I'm wrong, but it feels like it's been a long long time since we were good at hitting with RISP. 2008 was certainly the last and probably only year I've ever felt confident in that spot over a whole season. The first 3 weeks of August I'd bet we hit well...I thought maybe we turned the corner

It wasn't a strike. It would've either been a whiff or weak contact. Gotta trust the umpire to not miss the call. The reason I said that is because he struck out looking on a pitch that was even more outside in his last AB.
