SSS but also their pitchers are just beating our hitters....either just terrible matchup or just caught them at a time when our bats turned cold. Based on all the popups I think they might be a little homer happy too -
If you think about it we were trying to do with with 2 good starters, one pitching almost 100 innings more than he ever has, and then trying to cover the other games with relievers they picked up in August and september. We have a [expletive] load of talent but not yet a complete team

It's only a "must-win" in a best of 7 when the other team has already won 3 of the games. Until then, it's just really important. One team in the history of baseball has come back from a 3-0 deficit. Statistically, it's a must win. If we don't win tonight I can't wait to hear all the 04 Red Sox comparisons during the day tomorrow.

Curious to see the opinion of this board. What are the 2-3 biggest reasons the Cubs are down 0-2 and trailing late in game 3? Power pitchers dominating hitters? Bad umpiring? Bad luck? Mets offense is just too hot?
