  1. Because they don't manage the game to be ahead by multiple scores. They manage the game to be close into the 4tb, against good and bad teams. Definitely. They knew they don't have a ton of talent so basically hoping to play a bunch of coin flip games and hope that Lady Luck is on their side and they win 60-70% of those coin flips. Instead they are 4-5. What's frustrating though is that it's not like we were down 10 then scored a late TD to lose by 3. Many of these games the Bears were a mistake away from winning. Detroit: up 4 with the ball and 3 mins left, 3 conservative runs and then Detroit scores a TD Minnesota: up 10 with 4 mins left, lose in regulation San Francisco: a lot of mistakes but missing a relatively chip shot FG for the win Washington: worse example but interesting play calling let and another missed FG for a kicker who use to be extremely clutch
  2. I liked it, Gould blew it last week so there was reason to think he would miss again in bad weather here. They tried for the TD. How about try for the first down? I don't know I guess it's unfair to rip on fox when he's super conservative and then rip on him when he's being aggressive. It's just frustrating that they had first downs in Redskins territory twice in the 4th and came away with 0 points and at best a 50 yard FG attempt
  3. And again 9 out of the last 10 bears games were decided within the last 2 mins of the game
  4. That will bring the Bears to 2-12 against Washington since 1988, and 6 straight losses - all within 1 score
  5. Terrible play calling in Redskins territory in the 2nd half and terrible kicking robbie
  6. Alright win this Jay
  7. At least this time they went for the live ball (unlike 2013 against GB)
  8. Wow that was bad
  9. Man 1st and 10 from Washington 41 and we end up having to punt
  10. Potentially idiotic post: Have opponents missed a FG against the Bears all year?
  11. And we're back Just move long back to guard
  12. If the Bears lose this one they will be 5-16 in Dec/Jan over the last 4 seasons
  13. We are just constantly [expletive] up at every opportunity. Come the hell on
  14. Red Zone channel it is
  15. I thought about how when the Bears were 5-6 they had the same record as last year. It's looking like they might finish the season the same too
  16. We're about to give our second straight opponent their first road win of the season
  17. Another opening drive TD allowed. Terrible
  18. Should they try Pat Kennedy next or jump straight to Joey Meyer?
  19. Thank God, he looks like MVP era Rose again mostly. His hair was [expletive] hideous
  20. Let's see how many of them sign extensions over the next 2 years.

Watching that first clip with Pat and Ron reminded me that Starlin was the last current Cub that Ron ever saw play for the Cubs.
  22. Marquess Wilson was put on IR today
  23. Mark Appel now going to Phils in the Giles trade. Remember when he was a thing?
  24. Wow, so I read this post...then thought 'I don't get it oh well', went to a different page, then like out of nowhere I felt compelled to figure out what the hell you were talking about, googled it and thought 'weird norwegian comedy group, i really don't get it', then went to another page and thought 'wait arent they the what does the fox say" people? Then it finally clicked. Nice.
  25. That means nothing. The next piece of useful information John Fox gives the media will be his first.
