Probably one of those rare instances where LD% validates a BABIP that low Jk I really have no feel for how hard Rizzos been hitting the ball lately outside of that pop up just now
Too bad the Texans have the Bears number. They've played 3 times: -2004 killed the myth of Bear weather in a shutout win that killed what tiny bit of playoff hope they had left -2008 beat the Bears in week 17 to eliminate them from playoff contention -2012 beat the 7-1 Bears, sending them into a death spiral that ended with us missing the playoffs, getting lovie canned and giving us the Marc Trestman era
Man someone besides Fowler has gotta start hitting with some consistency or I'm going to start breaking out my arbitrary start point statistics that everyone loves.
Fortunately (for humanity), it appears the Cardinals/racist slurs caught on ESPN thing is false http://deadspin.com/no-espn-did-not-air-cardinals-fans-yelling-racial-slur-1771860332?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow
Yeah of course they are not the only ones with idiot racist fans. But if they (yes I'm going to group all Cardinals fans together and am aware that many if not most don't live up to stereotype, oh well) are going to reverently refer to themselves as the BFIB to anyone who will listen, they deserve to get singled out when stuff like this happens.
Reading CardsTalk discussing the slurs report. One person says that stuff doesn't happen at Royals games. A poster then replies asking how many "colored ball players" the Royals have. http://interact.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1171605&start=24
A little disappointed with Candelario's start after such a strong looking spring with the big club. Obviously spring stats don't tell us much, even for minor leagues playing above their level, but I am hoping this is evidence he is making a leap as a prospect. 50 PA doesn't tell us much but was hoping for a hotter start.

I believe he was offered a cure for her cancer but in order to do so he had to divorce her, deal with public backlash, and pitch 2 seasons for the sewer rats in St. Louis. Selflessly, he took the offer
I'm guessing maddon did it reluctantly in response to monteros emphatic request for a challenge. Stand up for your guy situation Yeah you're probably right. Although it seems like guys do this all the time regardless of whether they are actually right.
I know it's been said a lot.....but it's bizarre that they are so displeased by a dude who played six months for them. Cardinal fan jokes aside I sort of get it. They gave up some decent pieces for him (and Shelby miller got a crapload a season later) and then offered him what would have been by far the biggest contract in cardinals history and he spurned them to go their their biggest rivals.
I vote that this thread is locked if he gives us at least 7 IP and 2 or less ER in a winning effort tonight. At least locked until the next time he sucks or otherwise opens his punchable mouth.
what did you call JD apologize right now omg JD I am sorry. I thought this was like the radio side where every color guy has to have the same first name.
my50 Yeah, I know that its channel 184 for me, but since I don't watch it for anything else besides the rare Cubs/Bulls game, I have no idea what the station actually is and how to articulate it to others outside of the call letters.
