I am pretty close to preferring him starting over Miggy. And I had a similar hatred of him last year. They're a fine platoon because Ross, as nice as his bat has looked this year, still struggles mightily against right handed pitching, and he probably can't keep this up healthwise as a starter. For sure, I just think Rossy does a better job defensively, is a better framer (although not by much), does a better job blocking balls, controlling the running game. No idea which one has better chemistry with his starters but I'm sure Ross grades out well there as well. I am fine with the platoon as it is, but I don't dread seeing Ross on the lineup card anymore at all.
