  1. A) He would've been out B) Bryant coming up C) lol I said I don't care. I would have to watch the replay again but I thought he would have been safe
  2. Seriously should have sent wood. I don't care what anyone else says
  3. That crazy Boston radio guy was right obviously
  4. Man I am so scared of a gidp here I almost want him to K
  5. Well this is going to be an interesting one if they tie it up. Only Ross is left on the bench right?
  6. Oh well good teams lose to less good teams. That said when you have a 2-0 lead on an injured matz 2 batters into the game and 2 of the next 3 opposing starters are deGrom and Syndergard you definitely want to try to win this one If they end up losing its more just disappointing because it felt like they really didn't have to lose. It wasn't bad luck or anything. It was just using a really [expletive] pitcher in a high leverage situation and then letting the [expletive] pitcher continue to pitch. It was also one of your best defensive players making a really poor decision at the worst possible time
  7. You want to see if you can find lightning in a bottle fine but putting him in to face the tying run with the top of the order due up in the 7th inning isn't really what I would recommend.
  8. Crazy that every starter remaining for both teams in this series has an ERA this year under 2.60
  9. I'm tired of waiting. He needs to [expletive] hit. It's possible he's going to have a down year like he did after his rookie one. But he probably should bounce back to be a productive offensive guy. Just in time to opt out
  10. Oh well good teams lose to less good teams. That said when you have a 2-0 lead on an injured matz 2 batters into the game and 2 of the next 3 opposing starters are deGrom and Syndergard you definitely want to try to win this one
  11. he's lefthanded, doesn't hit lefthanded pitching very well, and was put in to face a tough lefthanded reliever. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SQA3d7NwSCE/Ur1rMrSiRpI/AAAAAAAAPh0/mnmxLbwtw54/s1600/what-i-expected.gif He's not like Ryan Howard bad against lefties but I would really like Joe to consider not hitting him 2nd against lefties or at least really tough ones
  12. I remember when he was on Atlanta and hitting like 15-20 HRs a year I couldn't believe he wasn't a 30-35 HR hitter. Now every HR he's hit there year has been a complete shock to me and him hitting a HR doesn't cross my mind as possible results of his ABs. Which is unfair I know because he's better than this and is good even if he's not hitting HRs but whatever
  13. Both small samples compared to career numbers. I was just trying to be optimistic
  14. Well heyward has a higher avg against lefties this year and this lefty has a higher BAA against lefties
  15. bryant is now guaranteed to bat in the 9th if all else fails
  16. Heyward on deck. Whoops forgot about him
  17. Did anyone actually expect Coghlan to come through there?
  18. This is totally going to end with miggy batting with 2 outs isn't it?
  19. Hit a HR or get DFAd. These are your choices
  20. What the he'll umpire? Ball 5 your out
