    I can't believe they didn't send the runner. Always easier in retrospect but it would have taken a good relay and at worst they have runner at 2nd and 2 outs. At best they have 2 runs with a runner on 2nd (if they don't cut off the relay) and 1 out

    So if the score holds, we root for Brazil-Peru tie and somehow Ecuador only beats Haiti by a goal, and Peru scores at least as many goals as Ecuador does in their game. Sounds like most likely opponent is Ecuador followed by Brazil with Peru a relatively small chance (mostly because I see no way Haiti stays within a goal of Ecuador) I know I'm getting ahead of myself here.     Is there anything about this 41-18 team you feel comfortable with? Is there no downtrend that you're not willing to completely ignore? Yeah it's amazing that they've put together a 41-18 record, but that's because the SP has masked a lot of the glaring problems. I'm actually more worried about the pitching sustaining a strand rate that is higher than what we mocked the Cardinals for last year than I am the offense which has used up all of the fantastic depth they had in March. But in the grand scheme of things my biggest worries are like a 3 on a 1-10 scale. Yes they've gone like 17-12 since their 24-6 start. But 17-12 is still like 96 win pace over the course of a season. And this is a down stretch for this team relatively speaking

    Are we just facing better pitching or are the scouting reports basically saying don't nibble, just attack them? Just doesn't seem like we are walking at the rate we were earlier in the year. But we probably walked like 8 times last game and I'm just a moron.
