    Something seems fishy. He's been out what 2.5 weeks? And has been on a rehab assignment since last Monday? A week of rehab after 10 days off? Plus he didn't play in Iowas game yesterday. I'm guessing he had a setback but I guess a trade is a possibility however strange it seems.

    How long has this funk been... 2 weeks? Maybe 3.. while banged up with injuries? I mean as a whole they've been playing slightly over .500 since early May. But that's heavily weighted by the current 12-14 stretch since June 5. (Wait that's why arbitrary sample sizes don't work? I think I get it now)

    9 ER in his last 2 starts. Probably had 9 ER in the second half last year. I guess whatever magical fix they had for Jake hasn't taken effect yet.

    Half of those games have come in the last 18 days where the Cubs have been in an offensive funk (relative to April and May) punctuated by multiple rookies playing everyday and making adjustments. They will be fine long term
