  1. Pretty sure the Bears have owned the H2H edge over the Packers for basically their entire history. Packers about to tie it today.
  2. Of course I'm typing this as he commits turnovers on 4 consecutive possessions. Whoops Regression to the mean was always inevitable. Hoyer didn't last long enough for it to happen. Barkley has. Maybe. He wouldn't be my choice for QB over the next 5 years but I think he'd be a solid backup PS anyone know when Alshon Jeffrey's suspension is over?
  3. Why, because Barkley/Hoyer are looking good or because the other prospects are better? I'd probably take Watson or Trubisky. Have to get your future QB at some point and there probably won't be another opportunity to take any QB you want. *Edited to quote you and also note the possibility that the reason would have something to do with the dude in your avatar I'm no draft pro but I see a lot of people not enamored with any of the QBs as a top 5-7 pick. Pace says he's a BPA guy and I believe it based on his first 2 drafts. I don't think anyone necessarily believes Barkley is our long term QB but he hasn't necessarily eliminated himself as an Alex Smith type QB that's adequate on a good team but could be upgraded. So if the Bears scouts are in love with a guy in top 5 they'd take him but they aren't going to reach for a 1st round QB if they like another guy better IMO because they feel good enough that Hoyer or Barkley wouldn't be a disaster at QB next year. 5. I feel like our ratio of strip sack lost fumbles lost to gained is very very high
  6. I'm starting to think the Bears won't take a QB in the 1st. In fact I'm nearly certain.
  7. I believe it was 7 degrees. I was at the game and my beer froze
  8. I love those games where the defense consistently forces 3rd and longs and them allows offense to convert 100% of the time
  9. That's slightly better that what they were projecting most of the week
  10. About 6 months too late. Ok maybe not Dunn doesn't seem that good so maybe it's good we held onto Jimmy. Pax said we were getting younger and more athletic and then said mission accomplished but this team does not look more athletic than last years team. It will be funny (and sad) if Pax sells the fans on "we can be competitive in playoffs while we rebuild" instead of a full tear down and that team he builds doesn't make the playoffs.
  11. I knew it was a possibility but I really didn't think Fox would be gone after this year
  12. I don't agree with how he was used either. I'm not gonna get all meatbally about him saying so. He's trash for what he did but that's not really related to these comments. I guess I don't see the need to criticize Maddon after the fact. I did look up how he ranked among RPs IP in one postseason and he is towards the top all time but in a group with a number of relievers so its not like he was excessively overworked (which I'm assuming that's what he meant because in the next breath he mentions that despite this he's healthy). But mostly the reason I linked his comment with his DV incident is that I'm not willing to give him much slack in things he says and does because of his transgressions.
  13. [tweet] [/tweet] horsefeathers this dude. I'm sure his girl didn't like how she was treated either
  14. Ok Bulls aren't good and aren't interesting. Do I believe in the "Wade is gonna bring the Superfriends here" theory or do I root for them to not make the playoffs so they can finally can garpax and make a real change?
  15. Mine hasnt changed since an email I got on March 23; 18,902. Yeah I'm guessing they just haven't updated after the scalpers who got theirs revoked. That and maybe some old people dying is all you'll be moving up this year. Nah, they will be gifting those tickets to Trump and his cronies. That's why Todd was made part of his administration right?
  16. I'm not gonna complain about my spot in line. I, like many others here, had the chance to buy around 2012-2014 and didn't. Now I have to deal with the consequences. It still makes me slightly upset that the Cubs played in a world series and I didn't get to go to a game, but mostly because for years I dreamed about the moment and was fully prepared to sell whatever personal belongings I had to afford a ticket, but I guess kids get in the way of that (also your first born doesn't fetch as much value as you are led to believe).
  17. Donate that horsefeathers, homie. Yeah, we did some of that. Of course, that won't be an issue again for a long time. IIRC David did offer up some of his tickets in those years for free on the board
  18. I'm still rooting for McDaniels with Cutler staying. I like the idea of McDaniels coming on board and then as his first order of business calling a meeting with Cutler to cut him. I like Cutler a lot more than most people, I just think it would be kind of funny after their history. Meeting preview: [bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo]
  19. I would put my life savings on Harbaugh staying at Michigan in the short term (at least the next 2-3 seasons). Seriously even if you offered him $15m a year, I don't think he bolts. Those jobs will still be there in 3-4 years and I don't believe he thinks he's accomplished anything yet coaching his alma mater (no playoffs, no OSU wins) but he's getting close. If the Bears parted with Fox this offseason, I think we are looking at Josh McDaniels or Vic Fangio as the best possible options.
  20. That's what I'm saying. Be awesome, but if you break us, go dig your own pit The other Bears get it and will show him how to lose with style aka drop a sure game winning TD or on a big offensive play late in the game grab onto the nearest defender and hold on for dear life.
  21. Good for Thibs. Glad he got his revenge.
  22. That's awesome. Congrats raw, I'll be rooting for him!
  23. Every World Series champion does this. Yeah usually the banner raising is home opener and ring ceremony another game, usually the 2nd or 3rd game.
  24. Man Goodell is really milking this "International Series" thing. Currently a high on Sunday of 1 and a low of -11.
