No I mean I'm pissed Michigan lost and it's very painful way to lose. I'm conflicted as to whether I hate Northwestern now. Hate Walton for playing a garbage game and playing unsuccessful hero ball against a PG who wears velcro shoes and has mittens pinned to his jacket all year round. Walton played fine most of the game, one bad possession of hero ball doesn't erase that. Irvin took a poor 3 point attempt with plenty of time on the clock to give NW that last possession. And I think he had a lane to put the ball on the floor and drive and he didn't. That was the worse of the 2 final minute Michigan possessions
When that pass was thrown my first thought was "sweet Michigan is gonna get the ball under their basket" Also I have never horsefeathering seen a lane violation with no FT attempt wtf
As if your obsession with Northwestern basketball wasn't bizarre enough. No I mean I'm pissed Michigan lost and it's very painful way to lose. I'm conflicted as to whether I hate Northwestern now.
this has always been the case with shows using celebrities/stars. they've used all kinds of olympians, football players and other athletes, but it's vaguely interesting that this is the first mlb player to participate. It takes place during the summer I assume so obviously current players can't participate, but there are lots of former players and I would have thought some 90's era yankees had participated or some former dodger. what percentage of the US population knows who Chris Kattan is without the benefit of Google?
It premiers live in LA on March 20th. The Cubs have a game at 3 that day and an off day the next day...maybe Joe gives Bryzzo the day off to fly to LA and be in the audience...

First time I've seen that horsefeathering HR from the camera that it hit. Still can't find it online, but I think I'm ok with that. Didn't fox show that replay right after the HR was hit?
They are going to beat Michigan State and Rutgers, sneak in, and get Groce an extension. Gross. I didn't even realize Illinois was in shape to have an outside shot at an at large...i don't hear anyone talking about them. Their RPI is 56th and SOS is 12th. Beating MSU at home gives them a 5th top 50 RPI win (although 3 of those are against the 46th team and the 50th team (x2) and they play each other this week). Their worst loss was at Indiana (87th). If they beat MSU and Rutgers they are 18-12 (9-9). Could they be 1-2 BTT wins from making it as an at-large?
That was one of the worst fouls ever. Just let the guy take the dunk and the worst that happens is you go to OT. But trying for the block from behind was terrible. Northwester has to win at least one more game to make the tourney right? I wouldn't think finishing 9-9 in conference with a first round Big Ten tournament loss would be enough. The only thing I'll say is that this is one of the weakest bubbles I've ever seen and Northwesterns resume is still quite abit better than some of the teams mentioned as last 4 in. They are still in solid shape but it's certainly concerning because Michigan is red hot and Purdue is probably the best overall team in the conference so it's certainly not a stretch for them to lose both, putting a ton of pressure on them in the BTT QF against a team like Illinois or Indiana Reminds me a lot of Iowa a few years ago and they just barely got into the field after a late season complete collapse
It's gotta be tough to be a Northwestern basketball fan :( Michigan and Purdue to finish off the year. They might be in a position where they will need to win a game in the BTT to feel safe. What the hell
