  1. I think he's starting today just because it would've been 4 days off if he didn't I would have much rather Rizzo sat last night and has him in against a tough lefty and Schwarber play last night but whatever I'm not Joe
  2. Man these Giants are good. Maybe they can break the odd year curse and win the Wor- THEYRE 45-70 DAMMIT
  3. Joe seems to be frustrated lately. He's normally a "everything in fine, no worries" kind of guy but lately he's been pretty critical in pointing out issues the team is having
  4. dammit to hell Cardinals winning big tonight, would be 2.5 games out if the Cubs dont get their heads out of their asses and MadBum tomorrow
  5. I'm not shocked that he became a Cub and all the sudden started giving up 1st inning runs.
  6. I kindly request that Eloy be returned to the Chicago Cubs
  7. Brewers might make us have to win to stay in 1st tonight, up 3-0 in the 3rd
  8. The number of 1 year wonders for the Cardinals is crazy.
  9. I think he managed the bullpen beautifully in 2015 especially mixing in guys like Cahill and Richard and giving them useful roles. Not a ton of problem in 2016 except Chapman's WS usage. This year has been a little more head scratching but at the same time a lot of his guys have been inconsistent like Uehara, Grimm, Rondon and now Edwards. i think Maddon rightly or wrongly believes Edwards has the highest ceiling and the wanted to give him a chance to work through his recent issues. I do think this was one time too far though, particularly putting him in the game with little rope to work with. Oh well I love how you barely touch on his horrific bullpen management in the World Series. That horsefeathers nearly cost them the Series. Not trying to trivialize it, I thought it was obvious how horrible it was.

  11. Willson a contender for the best of the bunch was unexpected
  12. Looks like Willy has to hit at least 5-6 solo HRs a game to give us a shot
  13. sure, if you call that "bad" Sorry "bad" relative to expectations considering last year we were laughing about how far in 1st he was in DRS at 2B without enough innings to qualify
  14. I also think back to last year where he had that blazing hot May then a rough few months before picking it back up toward the end of the season and playoffs. Maybe he's just a really streaky hitter
  15. Was just looking at DRS on Fangraphs...Zobrist has 5 DRS in less innings than Javy at 2B (4 DRS) and Javy is -1 DRS at both SS and 3B. Has he really been that bad in the field this year?
