Well Brewers are 4-1 against LA and Washington over the last week. The good news is the Nats throw Scherzer tomorrow. The bad news is the Nats throw Jaxon on Sunday.
For anyone else who doesnt abuse women, simply being on the 1st Cubs team in 108 years to win a World Series is enough to be immortalized. For Mr. Lackey, the bar is set at 2 championships. I will forever loathe him if he cannot deliver.
Because Connor Shaw got hurt. Oh and apparently are run by idiots. Trubisky came into the game after Shaw got hurt (twice actually) because he's the only other QB who dressed. And the Bears decided to let him throw the ball on 4th down instead of attempting a FG (ya know, with a new long-snapper and a highly drafted kicker they recently picked up). I read on twitter that Sanchez was fully in uniform on the sidelines. Just a weird weird night all around. A bunch of head scratching decisions by the Bears coaching staff.
They are pissed off about losing a scheduling advantage, plain and simple. The Brewers have the day before off while the Cubs have a night game in Pittsburgh.
im not qualified to answer but i will anyway. I'd guess it would be like watching the Senior Bowl or one of those college all star games. Most of the guys playing were successful college players with upside but are probably not going to make the team or will be one of the last 4-5 guys to make the cut. They were probably not good enough to come out until junior year at the very earliest but most likely seniors, and most probably havent been in the league for more then 3-4 years as most veterans have either made the roster or have been cut already.
