  1. Shot a 98 today and was pretty happy about it. Especially since I THINK I holed a shot from 120 yards out, but it bounced out with those blue foam things in the hole. Oh well. Played with my Dad and a rando. After an intro and chit chat we realized he was from the Chicago area in Wisconsin, and they both went to UW Oshkosh for college, and only a year apart. Had a bunch of mutual friends. Small world.
  2. Dick tattoo callbacks are going to have at least a few months before they get stale.
  3. Yeah, for someone to pass this off as little more than, "hey, what dude HASN'T done this" is repulsive. This guy abused his position of power to victimize someone else, and the people he worked for seemingly knew about it at least within short order, and did nothing but nudge him out the door on a path to get an even better job. That isn't what I was doing.
  4. Insightful horsefeathers. Carry on.
  5. Hell, in that other thread about a guy's dick being shown to women who don't care to see it (because I'm not being sarcastic about its frequency), someone defended him by unironically asking who hasn't done something similar. And we're talking about the BOSS of a guy that did this, and we don't even know if it ever got back to him! You only answered one part of my two part question.
  6. He COULD have done that. I'm 100% unsurprised that he didn't. Of COURSE it isn't nigh impossible. It's just totally unsurprising.
  7. What is it that you wanted or expected from Theo assuming he knew what happened? Those are two different questions, btw.
  8. I just don't understand why anyone cares about this story. This changes my opinion of the Cubs management over the last 10 years and Theo in particular not one iota.
  9. I think the best argument that Theo should have known this had happened was that a majority of guys have sent unwanted dick picks to women. That is based off of a sampling of sports-ancillary internet scandals and stand-up routines from females comedians. There is someone you work with, or someone next door to you, that has sent his dick pic to someone else without her consent. If this is the ugliest story to come out of the Theo camp, he should rush into the Dem primaries in 2024. Put him in the hall of fame twice. The man is a God-king and deserves our admiration.
  10. He was a supposed rising star in the organization that was allowed to leave to be an asst gm shortly after this thing happened, when they could have just elevated him to their own asst GM gig. It looks to me like they knew he was trouble and preferred to let him go. They also put no effort into bringing him back. Yuuuuuuuup. No idea why anyone would bother with trying to defend Theo at this point. His track record of horsefeathers is long and apparent. Yeah, he won them a WS, but he's also a typical dip horsefeathers corporate bro, too. I mean, Theo can clearly form thoughts. I'd describe him as a fairly sharp corporate bro, and typical in so far as he enjoys a frat house atmosphere. Sow frat house games, reap frat house prizes. What's disturbing to me is that these types of boy's club corporate set ups are so common, and not just in sports franchises. I'm not sure if its because these guys are fostering an atmosphere so that women will stay away, or that having set ups like these are required to attract the "talent" they are targetting, or some of both. In any case, men are largely pathetic children and they suck, and if you want to blame Theo for this guy sending his dick to a lady that jilted him, I guess I don't especially care.
  11. Hey, who here hasn't sent a lady an unsolicited dick pic? I mean, it may have coincidentally had her name tattooed on it.
  12. How are you doing now raw? Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk I'd guess he's in the top 3.

  14. Oddly enough the tweet that crazy person replied to sums up my thoughts pretty nicely. People can have diversity in which teams play in the biggest games or they can have a 'true' national champion. They probably aren't going to get both. What is funny about that tweet is that I read the outraged responce first. So when I went back and read what he was replying to, I was predisposed to incorrectly read it the same way. So I was confused for a few moments before I realized that the internet tricked my brain into being racist.
  15. Did...did they just play Days of the New during that graphic? Bizarre.
  16. I don't spend a lot of time imagining escaping this hellscape, but when I do, I'm thinking about Belize, and largely because of the Cub connection. (That and my wife really likes scuba diving.)
  17. You can look at the outcomes of WR screen attempts and you'd only be getting a partial picture of the effectiveness of the play. If you can threaten plays like that, your go routes becomes much more effective. The same applies to running plays. There is a balance, and a lot of teams get that balance wrong, but in-and-of-itself, WR screens and immediate passes to the flats are pretty much required from time to time to make offenses effective and stretch defenses.
  18. nah, the Rams D is insane I know Wilson isn't bad. But I see an offensive coordinator position opening up Monday. That O line is a mess. Wilson can escape pressure from one rusher, but not two, partly because he isn't good at throws that require a lot of zip into tight windows, and he makes some bad decisions in those situations too. ...but his mobility and deep ball touch are fantastic. He's still a top 5 QB, imo.
  19. I dig it. I'm more interested in what everyone else in the league did, in general.
  20. Also, Taylor has to be chalk city, right? Who else are you going to play from that team? TY? The kicker?
  21. I like that line up. I just think its a cash game line up. Its top chalk at literally every position. 78 is a fair amount and payout is very top heavy. I might even get more wild than where I went with my previous line up. I understand that thought. But I think over 2-4 games, the variance becomes a little smaller and fading the absolute stars becomes harder than it does in a 1 week lineup. You have to pick your spots carefully to try to differentiate. I think if you were going to go wilder you should do it based off teams you don't expect to advance. That's probably the best way to pick a crazy scenario (for example, picking Roethlisberger or Lamar Jackson at QB, Taylor at RB, etc). Well yes and no. Likelihood of advancement/elimination actually makes fading the stars MORE palatable. They might get limited to just one game, and many are capped at three. Its like getting a game-ending injury in DFS, but MUCH more likely. I'll be curious to hear how this goes. I've never thought about this type of format before. Kinda dig it.
  22. Yeah, if that's true you definitely have to swing for the fences. Here's my best look QB: Josh Allen, Tom Brady RB: Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara, Chris Carson, Cam Akers WR: Davante Adams, Diontae Johnson, Marquise Brown, Allen Robinson TE: Travis Kelce, Austin Hooper K: Rodrigo Blankenship Defense: Washington If one of your QB's only plays one game, your lineup is probably finished. And you want to maximize your QB games. So in this lineup, I put wildcard teams in different conferences, and made sure to put the teams facing them in kicker/defense. I think you have enough differentiation points to put some studs in there, so that's why Kelce/Adams/Henry are pretty much locks IMO. I went back and forth on Baltimore/Seattle, but because Metcalf is facing Ramsey this week and Seattle wanting to run the ball made me go that way. I like that line up. I just think its a cash game line up. Its top chalk at literally every position. 78 is a fair amount and payout is very top heavy. I might even get more wild than where I went with my previous line up.
  23. So yeah, in .5 ppr, the QB's median projections are much larger than positions projected medians. Because of that, and other ownership shenanigans, I would go: QB: Allen, Brady RB: Kamara, Jones, Carson, Taylor WR: Robinson, Hollywood Brown, Dionte, AJ Brown K - Parkey TE - Kelce, Thomas DEF - Rams Allen has a gigantic ceiling advantage on the field (and being a rushing QB gives you TD leverage on teams using Diggs), and Brady has the best ceiling in the NFC. Everyone and their mom is going to use Adams (and if not, Rodgers). Jones is almost as good of a value compared to your alternatives, and he'll come with nearly no ownership. Kamara is just projected for too many points to pass on.
