    How did the Cubs end up with the billionaires who don't really like to spend what they should to win? Aren't there like a billion other billionaire owners in pro sports who just throw money around like crazy because they want to win? How'd the Cubs get the cheap one?

    The Bears’ roster is nowhere near that good. Both the offensive and defensive lines are far below average and you can’t be 11-4 with lines that bad no matter who is coaching.

    Why would you want those guys over someone like Harbaugh who has had success everywhere he’s gone?

    If the reports are correct, at the very least he wants to interview here. Let's hope the Bears don't turn him off by making him give a fake press conference as part of the interview.

    Still holding out hope that Shanahan or Stefanski gets let go, but I can’t imagine a candidate out there better than Ben Johnson besides those two. I just don’t have any hope in the Bears to get the obvious right candidate. George or Warren or Poles will probably want a leader of men instead of getting the clear choice football coach and we’ll be right back in the same spot in 3 years. In 2013 they passed on coach-of-the-year Bruce Arians for Trestman and last year they didn’t even interview Harbaugh.

    Not only does the organization not care about winning, they’ve made the players feel that way too. Unless it’s “winning” in a great draft year and losing your protected draft pick.

    Don’t tell his dad that. I wouldn’t consider him a disappointment though. He’s played good enough in a really tough year and with a lot of other playmakers around him that are getting passes and opportunities that he would normally get.

    Because the season was effectively over. You had Jaylon Johnson screaming at Eberflus after the Detroit game in the locker room. You had Allen saying that the players did enough to win and that the coaches let the team down. This was more than just thinking Eberflus was a dork.

    Ha, Aikman thinks Poles did a good job in putting together this team. Poles has basically neglected the lines of scrimmage and the ones he brought in mostly stink.

    Aikman is right. Get Caleb out of this one before his confidence gets too damaged. Or his body gets hurt.
