I have to think that George wouldn’t let Poles fire him last offseason. Why would the Bears need a 3 hour meeting a week ago Friday morning to determine if they should keep Eberflus if not for having to convince George to let him go?

Probably would take multiple very high picks to get Shanahan. I too hate the sound of that, but getting a proven coach who is a great offensive mind is very enticing.
