Counsell said he had a “bad game” last night. A little rough on Mo for his big league debut even though Counsell said the truth. Wasn’t surprised he’s not starting today.

More and more rumblings about the Bears shifting Darnell Wright to LT and letting Ozzy Trapilo see if he can win the job at RT. With Braxton Jones out for the offseason, the Bears might get plenty of time seeing these two at these positions.

Until Shaw comes up or they have another more competent 3B, I’m totally done with playing Berti at third. Let Lopez play because it’s not like Berti is hitting the cover of the ball and he’s an error machine.

We begged him to come here. We’ll promise you the closer role. He’s going in the IL tomorrow, but he doesn’t have the stuff to be a closer when he comes back. Not working out.

I really thought Counsell was smarter than this. He isn’t.

Busch struggles against lefties (as does Turner), but starting Turner with his bad glove is indefensible. He brings nothing at this age.
