I’m in agreement that he might have a bad second half based on some of the things you have mentioned, but I can’t say a pitcher sucks so far after not allowing an earned run for the first two months he pitched

He’s an out getter despite the peripherals and has had a really good season. He might not be a top-tier reliever, but by no means does he suck.

Who had Palencia, Brasier, Thielbar, Flexen, and Pomeranz with just 19 earned runs and a combined ERA under 2? Outside of Pressly’s one bad outing where they needed innings and Counsell left him out there, he has a 1.20 ERA. He’s only given up earned runs in 4 appearances out of 39. Two were in March and one was the blowup game.
