    Bears in the 7th spot in the playoffs with the Packers, Niners, and Lions on the schedule. If the Bears miss the playoffs, it will be because they can’t beat playoff teams ahead of them. Still, a 65% chance of making the playoffs.

    At the 41 yard line early in the game the passing game was in shambles. You only throw there if you are planning on kicking a FG on 4th down if the pass is incomplete. As far as the last play of the game, go with your strength which is running or a straight Caleb play action naked bootleg run. And to roll Caleb to the left makes it harder to get something on the ball. The Bears are good enough to get a yard on 4th down running it with 27 seconds to go and two timeouts in their pocket even when everyone knows it’s coming.

    Not running the ball enough in the first half, not getting into FG position in the first half on the GB 41, and the final play call

    He made 3 big mistakes today. That’s gotta stop happening.

    Week 1 he tried to be too clever by trying to have Santos kick it through the end zone. Then the 3 really bad decisions today. He needs to be better. He’s obviously pretty good, but he has to be better.

    DJ Moore with 1 catch for -4 yards. $28.5 million cap hit the next 2 years with $35.5 million in dead cap money next year. 3 TDs and 500 yards is not getting it done.

    This hasn’t been his first time trying to be too clever. You don’t get more wins for winning with trickery.

    But that’s what great QBs do. The difference between great QBs and average ones is often the ability to play well all game over and over again.

    Or just run the ball on 4th. They were having lots of success in the second half. The run game is far more reliable than Caleb right now.

    I don’t disagree with your comments - the future is bright. Still, 3rd and 4th down were ugly. Taking too much time on 3rd down forced Ben to try to score on 4th down instead of just running for the 1st. Ben gambles a little too much.

    I think they used 30 seconds for the 3rd down play. They were so worried about not leaving time on the clock that they rushed themselves at the end. In his postgame interview, Ben said he would have gone for two had they scored.

    Those are just way too many mistakes for a game of this magnitude. No way he should have been trusting Caleb in that position when your strength is rushing. Caleb only has a fastball and doesn’t normally have the touch for that throw.

    Why is it obvious to everyone but Ben why this wasn’t the strategy? That was a bad decision as was not getting into FG position on the GB 40 earlier in the game as was the final play call. Ben and Caleb can’t be this hot and cold. 1-3 in the Division.

    Caleb doesn’t throw a high fade well in tight spaces. That play should never have been called. Ben got too clever as he often does.

    Terrible play calling by Ben in the first half and just the worst play call you can image when you’ve been bullying them all second half
