  1. OOHHHHH NOOOOOOO. He dropped the ball!
  2. I didn't know Encarnacion had to be out. I guess it's too easy to get a DP.
  3. Every World Series since 1945 has been... I see your point but even the last few were exciting. I live in Chicago so last year's was, the Red Sox winning was, and so was Florida's even though I was in a deep depression.
  4. Is it just me or is this WS just pretty boring?
  5. OK after further review cutting off the throw wasn't so bad an idea
  6. I don't know if I would have cut off that throw
  7. Who pays bug bucks to go to a World Series game and wears a pumpkin on his head with the Tiger insignia blocking your view? Somebody did.
  8. Rodney does have filthy stuff
  9. I distinctly remember Terry Mulholland blowing a game at the Astrodome like that. I think it was a big game too, I just can't remember the context I remember that too. Was that in '98? Extra innings involved?
  10. I agree. He barehanded it but that didn't force him to make a bad throw. He just didnt set himself properly.
  11. Why do pitchers tend to lob the ball to first so frequently? Give it a little juice and the throw would be more accurate.
  12. You had respect for Suppan? It took a hit after seeing that. He is giving up runs on decent pitches to Casey.
  13. I just lost all respect for Suppan
  14. I dunno...individual teams can only appear on prime time 5 times during the season. The Bears will already have 4 (Seattle, Arizona, New York, and St Louis). NBC might want to save that potential 5th game for the last one of the season in case the Bears have a shot at 16-0 or (and probably more importantly in their eyes) Favre retires and it's his last game. I have never heard the 5 game limit thing before. You sure it's true?
  15. I guess he is getting tuned up for some college games he will be announcing later in the year
  16. well, he made a nice defensive play if that helps. maybe the cubs can get him back to replace ramirez. it would be good to see some hustle from the 3b position. He does run to the dugout pretty quickly after he makes out
  17. Well welcome to the board at least
  18. They aren't even showing replays of the Pudge shot in the groin. I can't blame them though.
  19. DLee sure did. When the Cubs got him I remember him stinking up the playoffs. I am sure glad he turned it around.
  20. They just announced an extension. Any homer for the rest of the game counts.
  21. How about a homerun and America gets tacos!
  22. San Francisco is giving up more points than anyone in the league though. I'd put GB right there with them.
  23. Carpenter almost got nailed by a shattered bat. With the type of wood they are using and the skinny handles, someone is going to get impailed.
  24. Did anyone catch the Chevy Silverado commercial about 30 minutes ago? It was the first fully Spanish commercial I have ever seen on network TV. Was that commercial on in your area?
