  1. Does the 163rd game, the tiebraker, count for season stats?
  2. What do you do with the 75 million dollar center you just got and the good looking young power forward the Bulls drafted? You let Oden play and develop behind Wallace for 2, maybe 3 years. Wallace only has one maybe two more effective years left after this, anyway. You do not pass on a Greg Oden because you have Ben Wallace. Sure, it's a rare predicament where a championship contending team has a lottery pick, but it's a nice problem to have. :D I would love to have him as much as you, but could they afford him?

  4. Broken nose, headed back to CHicago for a mask. Darn. How long will he have to wear that thing? I hope he doesnt turn into Rick Hamilton and wear it the rest of his life. Kinda suprised he broke his nose. There wasn't much blood so I thought he didn't. Regardless, he played great and has a promising future. One more time, THANK YOU ISAIAH!
  5. That dunk and block by Tyrus was great. Where did he come from on the dunk! Thank you thank you thank you Isaiah. Wallace said that at halftime the Bulls' offense was out of sync and that the defense carried them. I don't know about that. They looked good in every aspect.
  6. Bulls wearing white jerseys away. Weird.
  7. Can you play Wally and Anderson together? Anderson has always played on the left, but he or Wally could switch right?
  8. I had always heard that Tillman was not a fast runner. The Tribune today had all of the 40 times for the whole defense and guess who has the lowest time? Yes Tillman at I think a 4.43. Vasher had a 4.44 and someone else was right behind. So if Tillman is so fast, why is he the least talented in the secondary? I was in favor of the Bears going for the TD on the goal-line. It wasn't about the offense though. It was about helping to preserve the shutout because even if they didn't score, they would back the 49ers up.
  9. Because he's getting stuffed by one of the worst run defenses in the league. They knew that the Bears were going to run after they got a huge lead
  10. Coming into the playoffs I thought the Cards were one of if not the worst team in the playoffs. And they haven't even played great this postseason. It's not always the best team that wins. But they aren't making mistakes and they capitalize on the other team's mistakes. That's what it takes to win a World Series.
  11. I don't think Leyland lets him even bring a bat
  12. Nice pitch on Munroe. Can't hit too well with one hand on the bat.
  13. Zumaya is responsible for possibly letting the Cards lose two games. Did he walk the batter that scored cause I forgot.
  14. OOHHHHH NOOOOOOO. He dropped the ball!
  15. I didn't know Encarnacion had to be out. I guess it's too easy to get a DP.
  16. Every World Series since 1945 has been... I see your point but even the last few were exciting. I live in Chicago so last year's was, the Red Sox winning was, and so was Florida's even though I was in a deep depression.
  17. Is it just me or is this WS just pretty boring?
  18. OK after further review cutting off the throw wasn't so bad an idea
  19. I don't know if I would have cut off that throw
  20. Who pays bug bucks to go to a World Series game and wears a pumpkin on his head with the Tiger insignia blocking your view? Somebody did.
  21. Rodney does have filthy stuff
  22. I distinctly remember Terry Mulholland blowing a game at the Astrodome like that. I think it was a big game too, I just can't remember the context I remember that too. Was that in '98? Extra innings involved?
  23. I agree. He barehanded it but that didn't force him to make a bad throw. He just didnt set himself properly.
  24. Why do pitchers tend to lob the ball to first so frequently? Give it a little juice and the throw would be more accurate.
