    Why would you assume "Proven Winners" was the name of a sports betting company? Is there a company of the same name? I think I remember hearing of a company with that name that told you over the phone which teams to pick.

    When I first heard that "Proven Winners" was sponsoring a WGN Radio Cubs game, I was surprised that they would have a sports betting company doing commercials on their station. But I guess "Proven Winners" sells flowers and shrubs. Did anyone else think along similar lines? http://www.provenwinners.com/

    You better bet Favre is going to ask for this. He had his own locker room with the Jets. He isn't going to go to any of the summer workouts.

    The Vikings could be very very good with Harvin and Favre. But then again, in crunch time last year, Favre was terrible.

    Unless Favre has surgery on his torn bicep tendon, I don't think he'd be very effective. Reports are that it wasn't as bad as first thought.

    Because $10M is a lot to pay a reserve guard, especially if you're trying to add an impact PF like Bosh or Amare. And who wants an overpaid guard? Bosh and Amare aren't getting traded this offseason. How many more years does Kirk have under his contract?

    Outside of the one game where Cleveland slaughtered the Yankees, I didn't think DeRosa was playing too well.

    I can't believe the rule is that the opposing coach gets to pick the player to shoot the free throws. It was his own player that committed an unnecessary foul that could have resulted in Miller not being able to shoot. The NBA should change that. They are trying to make it so that a bad free throw shooter isn't faking his injury, but if the foul that caused the injury is flagrant, it would make sense that the injury is real.

    Miller makes me nervous every time he does the old man stroll through the lane, and most of the time something bad happens. I don't know what the deal was with Tyrus not being in the game. I am tired of hearing how good of a passer Miller is. For very good pass he makes, he makes a terrible one. Tyrus has to get more playing time.

    Too many missed opportunities. The Bulls were lucky to escape last time, but don't make that a habit.
