  1. Just going by the thread title so I wouldn't confuse anyone
  2. While the vandalism was wrong, McKlevin was stupid enough to mention after the game that if he had to bring the ball out of the end zone all over again, he would. That is pure idiocy and would tick me off as a fan too. Of course Jauron backed him up. He would rather lose and play football his way.
  3. http://the506.com/nflmaps/2009/02-CBS-L.html Thanks. I'm in Atlanta and I should get this game.
  4. Is this game going to be broadcast nationally?
  5. He was closer to the 2005 Urlacher than the 2006-2008 Urlacher. He was the healthiest he had been in years. Listen to the first 15 secs of this clip. In what category were the Bears fifth in defense? 30th in yards, 16th or so in points last year. Anyone who watched last season saw how bad the defense was. http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id/3260/replacing-urlacher
  6. He had a great view while having his head down motioning to Wolfe. But the point is that the 5 yard flag wouldnt have given the Bears a first down and they would have punted anyway. Which is why they tried to run to Wolfe hoping he could surprise them and run for a first down. If they punt the ball and 12 men is called, they will re punt the ball 5 yards closer to their end zone. I'm not saying I agree at all but that was the logic. So Mannely thought they were in the worst case getting a free play. That makes more sense. But still too dangerous considering the field position. You have to be certain he is off the field. But you cant turn down a twelve men on the field call can you even if they got a first on the Wolfe run?
  7. All the Chicago radio stations have postgame shows. I'm listening to http://www.670thescore.com 's show OB and Doug must be totally flipping out
  8. He had a great view while having his head down motioning to Wolfe. But the point is that the 5 yard flag wouldnt have given the Bears a first down and they would have punted anyway. Wouldn't the snap to Maynard draw the same penalty? Maybe he thought Maynard was too far away to hear/see the signal. He's lucky Wolfe caught the ball.
  9. You aren't worried about the inexperienced receivers? The terrible o-line play? Cutler's bad decision making? The average coach that Lovie is? The poor DBs the Bears put out there?
  10. He had a great view while having his head down motioning to Wolfe. But the point is that the 5 yard flag wouldnt have given the Bears a first down and they would have punted anyway.
  11. The more I think about it the more I realize how insanely stupidly the Bears played all around. This is high school crap.
  12. Hunter freaking Hillenmeyer was playing middle linebacker. LOL.
  13. No I think next week is going to be the worst game. Pittsburgh is physical and our offense wont be able to score. My only hope is that Palomalo is out.
  14. Okay, so I'm guessing they'll play next week. Good. Still could be MCL or ACL
  15. I wonder what Rex could do with a great receiver like Johnson
  16. Did you post this with a straight face? Sort of
  17. You're completely correct....if your QB throws 4 picks and people are blaming them all on someone else, you are an idiot. Yes the WRs had much to blame on a majority of the picks but it takes 2 to tango. At least 2 of those picks are on the receivers. That last one, and...one more...I forget which one now...freaking 4 picks. There was one down the middle of the field though that there was no receiver even there....and well...4 is too many to keep track of. I don't know on the 4th. And Cutler threw into quadruple coverage late in the game.
  18. Both QB's are better than they played tonight. Again the biggest thing I take from it is how bad both o-lines looked. Packers and Vikings are both in great position to start 3-0. Bears need to play well to avoid a really big early hole after 3 games. Both O-lines looked pretty bad tonight. If neither of them clean it up, I don't see how the Vikings don't win the division. It could have been a product of both teams defenses playing their butts off. I thought the Packer line is fine except for the RT.
  19. He talks too slow and stacattoed. Harrison is no good either. Where did Bettis go?
  20. Or not. Why not? Orton throws the ball to the other team too, but it gets tipped to his player. Actually Orton was good until he got hurt last year. Still not good at throwing the deep ball.
  21. Seattle will probably be a loss as well. 0-3 Rest of the season is easy though. Pitt is at Chicago Pitt will win by 10 instead of 13.
  22. The Bears win that game with Orton
  23. What the hell are you talking about? It was Knox's fault that Harris was standing in front of him when the ball was thrown? Cause Harris read the route and Knox let him get position.
