The more I think about it, it is Lovie's decision to keep Collins in or bench him. Lovie pretty much said so in his halftime interview with Zach Zaidman. I would have given Collins one more shot after halftime once changes could have been discussed, but after that he should have been gone. Lovie's rationale must have been that he didn't think the game was ever in doubt due to Carolina's terrible offense. You just can't throw the ball deep at all with Collins. Nothing over 20 yards. Martz has to know this. But I am still mad at Martz for last week. He kept on dropping Cutler back in the pocket even after he was getting killed. He learned his lesson in Dallas, but he didn't scrap the gameplan last week or this week.
