    There's a county just northeast of the city called DeKalb that is 54% African American and only 33% white. That's probably what you are referring to. Probably Perimeter Mall. A lot of wealthy African Americans in DeKalb. Cobb County, where the new stadium is going to be, roughly has those percentages flipped. DeKalb is the only place I know where there is a strong African American presence north of the city. Yes the place where the stadium is going to be a lot more caucasian compared to where Turner Field is. The move was really about one thing - it was really hard to get to games and the Braves are getting tons of money due to it. I hope they get a MARTA train stop at the new location. There is a huge vacant tract of land in DeKalb County that used to be a GM plant. There were always rumors that the Falcons might move there and people wondered why the Braves didn't go there. Cobb County is kicking in $450 million to get the team. Wow.

    This is playing out as a worse-case scenario. Mid first round pick and not enough time to evaluate Cutler if he's out 4-6 weeks. Have to franchise him now if he's back no sooner than 6 weeks.

    Again I don't disagree. But can you save $15 million a year and draft a QB who works great in this system and barely miss a step?

    And the point others are making is that you are making assumptions that would probably not hold up in the real world. The real world is what has happened the last 3 games with McCown. It is becoming a trend.

    My point isn't so much that McCown is a good QB as it is the drop off with Trestman at the helm and much improved offense is not really much at all.

    Buses do help with road traffic a little. The train takes you close and the buses take the smaller roads to the stadium.

    I'm not so sure the Bears will have mediocre QB play next year if there is no Cutler. Better oline and plenty of weapons on offense. Look what a mediocre McCown does. He gets points on the board with this offense.

    You have to take a train and then a bus to get to Turner Field. MARTA goes there but only by bus after a train ride. If you drive you have to go through downtown. Horrible traffic. As of now no MARTA at all to where the new stadium will be built. Most Braves fans live north of the city. It would be like Cubs fans having their stadium be US Cellular Field. Doesn't make sense. The Braves have a real good team and I bet they draw 5k more fans a game now that they are moving.

    I think it's a convenient way to save face and pull cutler for ineffectiveness after letting him continue to hobble around in pain the entire second half. Could be wrong of course. Trestman has been pretty forthright in his tenure. Much more than Lovie. I don't think you want to lie about Jay's ankle. With that said, Jay said he was 100% coming into this game, but he clearly wasn't. Trestman said he took out the plays where Jay had to be mobile ahead of time. That's not a good thing to do against a Detroit line that forces you to move and against which you need to call for some roll outs to get time.

    The Lions have a 2 game lead now with the tiebreaker, it's pretty much over unless the Bears can finish 6-2. Wildcard in play if SF wins

    I don't know if it was the pain or just losing his accuracy. Either way McCown at the very least needed to be in for the last 3 drives. With that said Alshon played good, but dropped 2 TD's.

    Season's not over by any means, but Jay is more banged up now. Makes you wonder if McCown could have played better.
