  1. Wanny also on Big 10 Network
  2. He ordered food live on the air without telling the guy at the restaurant. I guess that's illegal.
  3. I don't see any of those guys coming back. Bernstein would spontaneously combust of Kap and/or Haugh got hired and I don't think the executives at the Score trust McNeil to finish any contract he signs. My guess is that Mannelly is stepping down to make room for someone specifically. A radio guy perhaps...that has been in the industry a while and he feels like he's taking some "radio guy's" spot. Ben Finfer maybe? He's not a big enough name for the midday slot. I'd rather have Holmes take that job and put Finfer into Loho's evening spot. The evening spot is only on 60% of the time anyway. Too bad for Jason Goff. He had been waiting for an opening for years and then not too long after he left the McNeil saga began and now Mannelly is gone. I heard that he wasn't good terms with CBS after getting fired in Atlanta so he's not coming back.

  5. Took that job over the Bears DC. Surprised.
  6. Yes lately, but typically they say after a story breaks "My guy had been telling me this all along." Then why didn't you mention it?
  7. The new coach will pick his DC and OC. This is pretty common. What happens if he wants to keep Tucker?
  8. I thought personnel decisions including Cutler's fate are completely up to the new GM. But George won't hire a guy who wants to get rid of Cutler from the onset? I didn't get the impression that the difference between Pace and Ballard was what they'd do with Cutler.
  9. Mueller came to the conclusion that the NFL did not see the Ray Rice hotel video and never even received it. ""We found no evidence that anyone at the NFL had or saw the in-elevator video before it was publicly shown. We also found no evidence that a woman at the NFL acknowledged receipt of that video in a voicemail message on April 9, 2014," the report said." But: "The report also said the NFL failed to: • Contact police officers who investigated the incident, the Atlantic City Prosecutor's office or the hotel to obtain or view the in-elevator video. • Ask Rice or his lawyer whether they would make the tape available. • Follow up with the Ravens to determine whether they had additional information, following the league's initial contact with the team." http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=12138032
  10. 99 MPH in a 65 while driving drunk at 11:45 AM. Real smart.
  11. Is it that he never had a great offense or that his personality isn't what the McCaskeys have wanted in a head coach lately?
  12. After the game, Rose said that if the other team is going to give him threes, he will take them. In the next sentence he said that he's also not going to let the other team determine the type of basketball he will play.
  13. No. He's like Lovie who is just a point A to point B coach. What is a point A to point B coach? A coach who can guide you to the playoffs, but won't be the one in charge when you win a Super Bowl
  14. No. He's like Lovie who is just a point A to point B coach.
  15. Rose is not intelligent on and off the court
  16. Don't know why Marinelli was mad when Emery didn't go with his head coach recommendation. Rod wasn't the GM. Bears management thought that there was a chance the new GM or coach would keep him. Can't understand his hard feelings.
  17. Bulls wanted to make it interesting. Butler continues to be a stud. The closer.
  18. A caller on the Score said that Jay is unhappy because he's playing out of position and was a WR in high school. Then he asked if Rodgers was available in a trade.
  19. Bernstein and Hub said the Bears were open to hiring a coach before a GM? Why? They hired Trestman, but then said you must hire these assistants. You are going to trim your GM possibilities if you hire the coach first. I understand you don't want good coaches to get hired before you have the chance to get them, but I still don't like that idea.
  20. Can he run a pro-style offense?
  21. Who's going to be the minority interview? Singletary?
  22. You don't leave Rodgers and an excellent organization for any other job, especially the Bears. Even for $10 million a year. McCarthy would laugh off George's proposition. But yeah, the Bears would be allowed to try.
  23. Well duh, they were terrible as opposed to winning 10 in Lovie's last year. Plus, Trestman is weird. His last day with the Bears was the same as all the previous days. And it was only two years. But man, what a [expletive] weird two years. I had high expectations a few games into '13. Did not see the offense regressing this much and Trestman losing the team. Thought the defense would improve with a better dline. Wouldn't have been surprised to see the Bears the 6th seed. I was wrong.
  24. Firing Lovie was fine. He couldn't put together an offense. Passing on Arians was the move that got Emery fired.
  25. Offense great in '13, bad in '14 with the same players. That's got nothing to do with Emery.
