    Yep. We've sure benefited from some questionable managing by him and Price. I don't like Ross' odds to make contact against Kimbrel, let alone get a hit.

    I want Rizzo in the 2 spot forever. I'd bat Bryant 6th until you're sure he's adjusted, then move him to cleanup.

    Interesting. I figured he'd take Ramirez's place to make it look less like a service time thing, since they could have put Olt on the DL a few days ago. Whatever, though. This rules.

    If he gets called up after this game, he'll have OPS'd over 1.000 at every stop except his 2 game stint in AZ to begin his pro career.

    These would be some tough matchups for Bryant to debut against, but I feel like he'll be in the lineup tomorrow since Olt still can't start apparently. They can tell Bryant tonight and officially make the roster move tomorrow to get the extra year, correct? Because it could be tricky to tell him tomorrow morning and still be in the lineup for a 1:20 game.

    Hate that Ramirez might be hurt, but I would like to see Rivero pitch.

    If Lester figures his [expletive] out, this is a really good team. And we're without one of our best hitters. The defense will range from shaky to bad, but everything else is really solid.

    I'd have no problem with Price wasting Chapman next inning. Hopefully our bottom of the order at least fouls some off before striking out so he can't pitch the 10th.

    The "needing to be 100000% convinced to change the call" stuff really gets me.

    Replay is stupid if it takes 5 minutes and if you're still going to value the live, full-speed call more.

    Lester should practice throwing to 1st between innings instead of the plate.

    I'm not really concerned about it because he'll stop giving up so many baserunners and he's quick to the plate, but having the yips that bad is kind of mind boggling. Like I can kind of understand when pitchers struggle throwing to bases on a bunt when you're in a rush, but pick offs shouldn't be that hard.
