    I'm surprised there aren't more fans hurt either, I remember at least on person dying by a puck at a NHL game in the last 10-15 years (think it was a little girl). I was thinking yesterday how dangerous it is for fans behind the third base dugout when a hitter like Lester is facing super high velocity from Cashner.

    This is terrifying. I can't remember a fan ever dying from a foul ball. I'm surprised there aren't more fan injuries, quite honestly.

    Losing on Lester and Arrieta days is no fun. Let's not do that tonight.

    Why wasn't that play at 2nd challenged?

    Yeah he has to be close. We've moved passed the phase of calling up top prospects only when it makes perfect sense for that individual player. Now the major league team actually matters, like they showed with calling up Bryant a little earlier than they'd like. It's not ideal that Russell is in a mini slump, but he's likely better than Herrera, La Stella, and Alcantara right now.

    can't we just have javy suck up here and at least hit a dong every once in a while It's been awhile since he's even played baseball.

    Except that he can't ever keep the ball down so it doesn't matter than he's a sinkerballer. Sure he does. His GB% was 70% going into today and was 60% last year.

    I feel like Cashner will hang a changeup to Bryant and he'll hit it onto Waveland.
