  1. Once again the review team valued the call on the field more than slow motion replay, but whatever. I can't get too upset by that missed call when we're still down by 3 against Jansen. No one gets multiple runs off that guy.
  2. That was a half-hearted strike 3 call. I think the ump realized how far outside that pitch was right after he made the call.
  3. How in the world has Gameday not yet put in a "in play, run(s) and out(s)" option? I always hate when the bases are loaded and it shows "in play, run(s)" for it only to be a sac fly.
  4. lol, espn shows a close-up of Starlin when talking about three true outcome players. He's like the exact opposite of that.
  5. TBH, I really don't care about Turner. I think Wada is better (supposedly just a cramp the other day) and we'll probably trade for a SP anyway.
  6. I was going to say this is definitely a bunting situation, but Jansen probably comes in after the sac, so this is smart to have Fowler swing away.
  7. I do worry about Ross' health (he throws his slider 46% of the time(!!!) as a starting pitcher), but that's a deal I would do. McKinney's good, but since he might be stuck in LF, I don't see huge upside with him. Tyson Ross would make us scary good.
  8. Mark Gonzales said he's listed as a reserve tonight, plus Alcantara is in Iowa's starting lineup. No DL yet it appears.
  9. I forgot Ned Colletti still works for the Dodgers. That's kind of weird.
  10. Where would they move though? Is there another market that really makes that much more sense or would really support a team that much better? I think just about anywhere could get more than 10,000 people to see a first place team in late June. Charlotte's a good idea if you want to keep them in the east. People bring up Montreal, though they struggled with attendance last time. I think Indianapolis could work. There's Portland and Las Vegas, and you could probably move the Astros to the AL East in that scenario. I think almost literally anywhere else would be better.
  11. There were a little more than 10,000 people at Tropicana to see the first place Rays play the Blue Jays tonight. It's only a matter of time before that franchise moves out of Florida, right?
  12. One baserunner and Grimm needs to be in. Too many fly balls from Motte.
  13. Very weird Maddon used Rondon vs the bottom of the order.
  14. Motte warming up. Do not like him with the wind blowing out.
  15. I think Nomar has said about 3 sentences on the Dodgers' broadcast the entire game. The 3 man crew is kind of unnecessary.
  16. Our starting center fielder for the next 3 weeks!
  17. Great inning from Strop, who actually struck out 3 batters that inning, as Gonzalez did not check his swing on 3-2.
  18. Plz dong on the first pitch, Kris. That would be the best.
  19. ugh, Wrigley's dark enough as is. David, you're up on the renovations, and I know it was brought up in that thread. Are they not adding outfield lights anymore?
  20. Russell has the lowest fielding percentage among qualified second baseman, yet is third in defensive runs saved. He also has the best range rating that factors into UZR (the errors knock him down a bit with overall UZR). Absurd range.
  21. Szczur probably should've caught that, right? I would assume Szczur and Alcantara would split time in CF if Fowler needs the DL.
  22. Oh my word. That was at his shins.
