That's a confusing approach at the plate. It's Motte; you know it's a fastball.

A strikeout or groundball pitcher would be nice here. Motte is neither.

This move surprises me. I thought the point of not using Rondon vs their best hitters was so that a lefty (Rosscup) would.

i actually don't think any of the 3 challenges were reversible by those standards That's true. I was pretty surprised they overturned the first two with how replay has been used this year. Thing is though, I think that pretty clearly hit him; you could see the uniform move and you could hear it.

Great job by Russell to lay off that. Ross needs to come out of this game. Wood, Wada, Arrieta...just about anyone would be better to run.

Would've preferred Montero there, but nice bunt. Let Wood pinch run; we have enough pitchers.

Really disagree with Ross hitting. Montero AND Denorfia should be pinch hitting. We need to do everything we can to score in the 7th and 8th. Who cares if Bucket head is the only one to pinch hit in the 9th; no one hits Chapman anyway. Once again, glad I'm not the manager.

Replay has been great this series. Not just helping the Cubs but it worked on that Votto behind-the-back play yesterday. This is how it's supposed to work.
