I kind of doubt they'll add anything more than a bench type. Castro's been awful, but I'm assuming they'll give him time to turn it around until Baez returns. Schwarber will be up on August to play some LF. No room for a big addition unless someone gets hurt. I don't really see them taking Castro, Fowler, or Soler out of the lineup. I'd much rather they make a move to get a solid bat for LF. Coghlan's been good, but go for someone who isn't a platoon player and can provided more everyday value and impact. Combine that with Soler coming back and now the bench is upgraded with Coghlan and Denorfria available off of it more often. If they really are determined to have Schwarber stick at catcher I'd rather just keep him down and focused on playing at that spot than sidetracking him with a stint in LF. A Coghlan/Denorfia platoon is pretty good. Finding someone clearly better than that would be a) difficult and b) really expensive. I dunno, I think we're kind of "stuck" with what we have, offensively. Hope Castro, Soler, and Fowler turn it around. Also, Schwarber wouldn't do any catching in September anyway, so missing half a month of reps in August at catcher to move to LF probably isn't a big deal.
