  1. No way would the Cubs get more for Soriano. I don't think that's what he said. This [expletive] is getting tiresome. Since April Bradley has a .282/.401/.433 line. Not considering contracts? Soriano, and it's not even close.
  2. I don't think in your face taunting happens very often after games are over.
  3. Looks like a slider over the heart of the plate gonna hammer this one...man I hate Milton...wait where am I?? *STRIKE 3!!*
  4. Like the Yankees and A-Rod. Or the Dodgers and Manny. Or the 2003 Cubs and Sammy. And the Braves and John Rocker.

  7. Like the Yankees and A-Rod.
  8. I've seen no indication that Bradley isn't trying his hardest.
  9. He'd probably go at least 1 for 25. I saw Albert's 8 year old kid on Shaq Vs. the other day and I'm pretty sure that kid could go 1 for 25. I hope their relationship turns out as well as Cecil and Prince's.
  10. Danks turned out pretty good, and Volquez was doing great before you know who got to him, so hopefully theres hope for Diamond. Plus he sounds Jewish, and weve been without ever since Jason Marquis departure, unless you count Rothschild. Sam Fuld is Jewish.
  11. Still rooting for him.
  12. I might get to go to an Illinois game to entertain customers. Hope they like Kams postgame.
  13. I've seriously been turned down by about 20 people, some of them actual Mets fans, to use the tickets, and they are really good seats. I had the same thing at Wrigley last week with really nice seats.
  14. He very well may have made the right decision. Possibly, but I could have used Miles or Gregg in the argument as well. I'm not trying to rip Bradley here, but point is that it really seems like Hendry is putting his decisions ahead of the team success in terms of importance to him. Understood, I just thought it was interesting to see how the other guys have fallen off while Bradley's #s went up(Not Dunn, but he is a 1B which kinda takes him out of the conversation) Look below for Raul Ibanez!
  15. Yes, he started the whole thing about feeling hatred. I'm sure part of him feels he is treated differently because he's black (which is probably partially true for some fans). I didn't see him say anything (vaguely or not) that accused the Cubs fan base of being rascist though. edit: I honestly don't remember how the "hatred" story started. Did they ask him about how fans treat him or did he just randomly bring it up? That's the issue, you never know what is prompting what a player says. I kinda doubt Bradley sought out the ugliest man in the room and said, you know what I'm feeling a lot of hatred lately, let me tell you all about it.
  16. Milton Bradley is the hardest guy to get out on the team. He passed up Kosuke? Yep, 394 for Bradley, 384 for Kosuke.
  17. Please show me the time Bradley cried to the media about fans being racist. I don't want to split hairs, but this comment while not coming out and stating that Cubs fans are racist, I think his intent is pretty clear: "America doesn't believe in racism. All I'm saying is I just pray the game is nine innings, so I can be out there the least amount of time as possible and go home." - Milton Bradley Right. That was his response to a reporter asking him if the mistreatment he received (in his mind, anyway) was due to racism. I definitely don't see how this constitutes "crying to the media about fans being racist." Not a reporter, a braying jackass.

  21. And don't you give me that Prior's shoulder crap. If he was hurt, the Cubs wouldn't be running him out there every 5 days. Guy's just a [expletive].
  22. Bear in mind, I don't know much about college football until week 5 cause I pay very little attention to it before the season starts. That said: Bama Oregon Illinois Georgia
