I would hope. People used to talk about him like he was the most valuable player in the league, which he never was. Career OPS of .772. I'd rather wait on Castro. I love Starlin Castro, think he's the best prospect in the system, but he's not can't-miss and you don't hold a spot for him after 1/3 of a season at AA.

Um, they are still only down 1 score. You're not understanding. You want score certainty. If you're going to need the 2 point to tie, you go for it now, then you know what you're playing against if you miss it. If you go for 1 then you're operating under the assumption that it's a 1 possession game, then when you miss the 2, it's too late to make up those missed points. If you go for 2 with 6 minutes left and miss you know that you need to score twice in 6 minutes to tie/win.

No you idiot, going for 1 now is not the smart move. You need to get the 2 at some point. You go for it now, and know what you're up against. Knowing that you need 2 scores with 6 minutes compared to playing for 1 score.

This is an extremely naive viewpoint. Sure chemistry isn't the only factor, or likely even the main factor, for the club's problems, but to completely discount work environment and/or work politics is foolish. As a business owner, it sure helps productivity to have a staff that gets along. I think it is funny that most people think that just because a guy is a baseball player, that he is immune to the same issues that most everyone else deals with on a daily basis. Why do you think your business is anything like a major league baseball team?

If teams 15 and 16 tie, whats the tie breaker? I don't think there'd be a tie breaker, my guess is that both teams would have protected picks. I really doubt it. Whoever gets the 15th pick is protected. Whoever gets 16th isn't.

A run prevented = a run scored. I'm not saying it's necessarily the right call but it's not as simple as "our offense sucks, where's the guy who can hit"
