  1. What's the link to follow if you're in and can't get your tickets to the game you originally chose. Girl at my work is trying to figure it out.
  2. I saw that. The only thing I noticed at a quick glance was the loss to Michigan and I was like, wait, we haven't even played them yet. Also, that traveling call on Iverson when he got under cut was amazingly BS. They must've all been wrong. They showed Illinois' profile earlier in the game, immediately after talking about Purdue beating Illinois to start their win streak. Illinois' profile showed beating Purdue as a key victory. Yeah, the RPI and record were correct, the wins and losses were from Ohio St.'s profile. They had a win against Cal in there as well.
  3. If he's thinking about it, he's thinking, man I hope the Mets are stupid enough to not pick this up so I can get paid.
  4. Hell no, it makes it a challenge though. On a side note, I am fully embracing DeMarcus Cousins as this generations Sheed. I'm biased, but I think Cousins is way more out of control than Cousins. Its late. No Cousins is that crazy.
  5. Hell no, it makes it a challenge though. On a side note, I am fully embracing DeMarcus Cousins as this generations Sheed. I'm biased, but I think Cousins is way more out of control than Cousins. I wouldn't doubt that a lot of it has to do with having Dean Smith as your coach compared to Cal. I could see Cousins going Bison Dele.
  6. You mean like using a Big 10 diploma? His opinion of Bama is very unimportant unlike toilet paper. Why would somebody use a diploma to wipe their ass? Would probably itch like hell.
  7. Sheed coming off the bench is not going to stop him from leading the lead in technicals.
  8. I meant to respond to this earlier, but I just don't buy it. Boston's been coasting all year. As long as their healthy come playoff time, I think they're right up there with Orlando and Cleveland. I don't see any way a team besides Orlando, Cleveland, or Boston goes to the finals.
  9. This helps stereotypes
  10. I wish somebody would've given me a heads up
  11. They just showed OSU's profile for us with regards to good wins and bad losses. I'm pretty sure Lavin knew it was wrong, as he didn't comment on it, and instead talked about 3 of the big wins we actually had.
  12. That was a really clear and loud "F*** Bo Ryan" *clap clap clap clap clap* chant.
  13. It's times like this I really wish Isiah was still around just to see what he would do if he struck out on all the 2010 free agents I wanted to post a possibility of some horrible ballhog no defense guard, but realized they all already played for Isiah's Knicks
  14. Dick Vitale was arguing talking about how there are a lot of good teams in the Big East beyond the top teams, and he throws [expletive] Rutgers out there.
  15. Oh that's just poking a bear with a stick.
  16. Why would you want a shot at Boston. It's not catharsis, if they just beat you all over again. Troll all you want, I don't care, just want to see you in April. It's not trolling, short of a major injury, the Bulls don't stand a chance against the top 3.
  17. Why would you want a shot at Boston. It's not catharsis, if they just beat you all over again.
  18. At least missing the playoffs will stop you from getting embarrassed by the Celtics. AGAIN
  19. We have enough pen arms with options that there's really no need for a 12th pitcher.
  20. I really only had a passing interest in Game 7 and didn't watch much of it. I had the TV off and only checked the score a few times. And Game 6 was an extreme example. I'm not like that always in person. Sure, I criticize when they're not doing well, but I do yell and cheer just like anyone else. Perception isn't always reality. I honestly don't understand this. How the hell can you be a Cub fan and not watch game 7 of the NLCS. It would've been physically impossible for me to not watch that game. He's a lunatic
  21. Yeah. My brother was (and still is) the eternal optimist, and he got super pissed at me when I told him that the NCLS was over, and they might as well not even play Game 7 because no matter what, the Marlins would win. He started yelling at me, and I took out my wallet and slapped a 20 (the entire contents of my wallet, which was a lot because I was a poor college student) down on the table. I said "If the Cubs win this game, this is yours. You don't owe me anything if they lose." When Kerry homered, he was bragging and wondering how he was going to spend his 20 bucks. All I did was look at him and say "just wait." After the last out was made, he didn't talk to me the rest of the night. its idiotic [expletive] like this that gives cubs fans a bad name Following me around from thread to thread seems to be the only thing you do around here these days. Whether that's true or not(it's not) he's right. This woe is me [expletive] is pathetic.
  22. That was the worst intentional foul I've ever seen and I say that with no hyperbole. Last night Sims hit a 3 for Michigan with 5 seconds left to tie up the game with Iowa. On that shot he pulled his Reggie Miller, kick my feet out to draw contact and fell down. No foul was called. The interesting thing is that in the postgame Sims said Hightower told him that he would have called the foul if he missed the shot. Ed Hightower ladies and gentlemen. He did get touched on the hand after he released, but it would've been a brutal call. That's still not as bad as whatever ref told Bruce Weber that if Tisdale wanted to get a foul called he'd gain some weight.
  23. That flagrant was worse than the technical they called yesterday.
  24. If anyone cares, Northwestern is sewing up an NIT bid in Evanston
