  1. It's not like seeing every game of a miserable Bulls season would bring you happiness anyway.
  2. It's the NCAA's goal to ruin the best thing in sports. Who the hell is Jennifer Hudson? Jennifer Hudson is an American Idol I think, which makes this about 25 percent more ridiculous and stupid. It's not like Luther Vandross was All-American at UNC.
  3. I'm gonna go ahead and say I've never been less impressed by a team that led by 29 points at one point. Seton Hall looked like garbage.
  4. Sounds like commie [expletive].
  5. I was questioning how you could make such a terrible joke.
  6. Bilas talks about how awful Providence's defense is even when they're not playing.
  7. I really hope the committee is watching Seton Hall here. This is a hell a lot of fun, but just a terrible game.
  8. Jay Bilas is disgusted by Providence.
  9. The problem with lists like this is if you make them sensibly, nobody will talk about them. I really doubt he left out Clark Griffith to create controversy.
  10. 8-12 in the Big East was going to get them in? I think they had to get to the final to have a legit shot. I think they needed to beat Marquette at least, but they looked a lot like Arizona from last year. Lots of losses but none of them bad and several good wins. And a tremendously weak bubble.
  11. 22 point loss? Not so much.
  12. Derwood and OMC should really let the Big Ten know how stupid they're being looking at ND and Texas.
  13. I think UConn was in with a win today.
  14. Go Johnnies!!
  15. that's right rays fans. don't get excited about evan longoria just yet, he's only had 2 major league seasons. He blows out his acl or elbow and in five years you will go "Evan who" i like how you threw "or elbow" in there too, since you didn't know if longoria was a hitter or pitcher have we not had a couple of MLB outfielders who just went under Tommy John? I like how you threw "outfielders" in there casue you think he's an OF.
  16. Wow, that's pretty phenomenal. Is that a one-time gig or will it continue in future years? probably a one time thing, but they're really good at rewarding customer loyalty. Hmm. If I ever manage to get a big-boy job and have a long-term home I'll have to look into that. In other news, Doug Gottlieb just sounded completely incoherent trying to bash the Big East, saying none of them have good out of conference wins (apparently G'Town's clubbing of Duke and win over Butler, WVU's win over Ohio State, Marquette's win over Xavier, etc. never happened). He was probably talking about bubble teams. Louisville's best is Arkansas. ND's is SLU. Seton Hall's is Cornell. South FL has Kent St.
  17. Somebody voted for Gladiator again!
  18. It does, but that's just because he's Mexican.
  19. Yeah he is the Dusty Baker of college basketball. Leonard is the best big man to come into the program since Cook and will struggle to get tick. Weber really frustrates me. I don't want Leonard playing thirty minutes a game but he should get more time than Griffey got this season. I'd like to see a starting five next year of: McCamey, Richardson, Richmond, Griffey, and Tisdale. With a bench of: Cole, Leonard, Davis, Paul, Bertrand, Head I don't think Crandall is getting much time at all next year. Leonard's going to struggle to get playing time because he's a freshman big man, and they usually struggle making the jump. That and there'll be 2 seniors who started the previous 2 seasons ahead of him. I think this is the wrong season to be complaining that Weber won't play young guys. He pushed Griffey ahead of the senior Keller on the depth chart. He started the year with 2 freshman in the backcourt, and DJ has been there all season. Paul started the first half and got out of control, and hasn't really earned his minutes back, though it does seem he's been getting increased minutes of late. The only complaints I have with minutes this year is Griffey should be getting more in the hopes of developing more. That and I wish Jeff Jordan would quit again this offseason. agreed, but i would add that cole has played way too many minutes. Look, we all hate Bill Cole, but who should play over him right now? Paul's looked awful pretty much all Big Ten season.
