Do you feel it's appropriate to question any decision Jim Hendry makes? Obviously, none of us are going to have the same access to information that he does since he's on the inside? Should we swallow down each [expletive] sandwich cause he knows stuff we don't?

I'm still waiting for somebody to explain how Bradley's miserable attitude cost the team games. The hilarity in that, is that the go-to explanation on that is people comparing their jobs to professional baseball, all while davearm makes the "you weren't there" argument

Lunardi still has us in??? I think we're in provided we beat Wisconsin on Sunday, too many quality wins not to get in plus, if past precedent means anything, I can recall an 18-13 or so, Arizona getting in last year. Arizona had just as many big wins last year without the disaster losses we've had. I think we need to win 2 in a row vs. Wisconsin. Hopefully Lunardi has good info.

Every Cubs fan I know in person (i.e. not people on this board) had the exact same thing to say about the Bradley/Silva trade: "I'm just glad he's gone." Most people don't want to think about the other stuff. They just don't really care, or want to be told why (I think) they should. Most people don't know anything about baseball. My friends are all idiots when it comes to this stuff.

If I squint enough I could find at-larges from those conferences. I still think when I take a closer look at it, the Pac 10 is going to wind up with more than 1 regardless of who wins the tourney. -

The WAC as well with Utah St.(who is far from a lock IMO) I could see an argument that the WCC is 1-bid if St. Mary's loses in their 1st game while Gonzaga wins it. -

To piggy back onto this, other potential 1-bid leagues: MAAC, Colonial, MVC, C-USA, Pac-10 I like the scoring and minute balance of Murray State as much as the next guy, but I think the OVC belongs somewhere on this list. Murray was right on the borderline of my first list. I couldn't see myself giving an at-large but I could listen to arguments for them. Their problem is to not get an auto-bid, they'd have to lose to a terrible team. -

I think he's a bad guy. I think he has serious issues stemming from his childhood, that he should've gotten help for a long time ago. I think he immediately thinks the worst about people, and has problems trusting anyone.

What? The Iowa job isn't close to the Indiana schools, the Michigan schools, Illinois or Ohio St. It's Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin in a group after that.

It would help to have a 1B who can actually hit though, especially if they bring nothing to the table defensively. I don't know what you expect here. Do you want him on the bench? It's not gonna happen. There's not exactly a glut of good hitting first baseman immediately available, so why not move Soriano and grab one of the free agent outfielders. Or, save some money by having someone like Colvin or Jackson or Burke (if ready by then) move into the outfield. If a worth while 1st baseman becomes available in 2012, Soriano can move back to left field as there will be a vacancy in the outfield from Fukudome. Why can Soriano move to 1B, and not oh, just about any free agent you'd sign??
