    Outside of August he's been damn good this season. When did I say he wasn't good? Well, saying he's not likely to be used outside of some crazy outlier of a game seems to be implying he's not bringing much value. The playoff rotation only being Arrieta/Lester/Pitching smorgasbord doesn't seem too realistic. You get to submit a new roster for the NLDS

    At Wrigley, SRO is at the very back of the 200 level. Terrible place to watch a game as pretty much everything besides the actual field is blocked from the overhang. So you might see all the fielders (or might not depending on pole placement where you stand) but you won't see the OF wall or the stands or scoreboards etc. I can understand wanting to just get in the park and for an NLCS or World Series game I would totally do it...would never do it for a regular season game. Is there still SRO in the bleachers? I did that for the 2007 game against the Dbacks. I don't know if they'll allow it in the playoffs but it was definitely still going on for one of the packed weekend games I went to. But it's not like there's a ton of spots so you really have to probably get dibs like the second they open. I'm almost certain they don't sell SRO to the bleachers regular season considering it's unreserved seating.

    Not sure and do you mean Kellys or Triona's? I know Kelly's is quality and a huge baseball pub from past visits. It'll certainly be the only thing on. Also, out of curiosity, why do you ask? EDIT: Just realized that was before the Triona's post. I have no idea about volume there. Just know it's a solid Chicago bar. I'm going to be in Midtown the rest of the week.

    Yeah. You're screwed. There's not enough bandwidth to support streaming. Netflix, etc... never works unless it's content already downloaded to your machine. Unless it's a plane that has DirecTV, in which case that will be the best $8 you'll ever spend. I don't know, if I was in that situation and the game was any bit as tense as it should be, I could see myself getting escorted off the plane by air marshalls upon landing. This would be for a hypothetical NLDS Game 1, I'd like to think I could keep myself somewhat in check for that.

    looking at the records of all of these teams and then seeing the cubs as a road team in the wild card game makes me mildly irate. I just think of how much angrier I'd be 4 years ago.

    i hope that whenever we win it, he actually feels comfortable showing his face and having some sort of cool moment because the whole thing is awful. Bring him back after they win it. I don't trust Cubs/sports fans enough to not be awful to him if they bring him back for a playoff game or something and then they end up losing. Bring him back where? He's living a normal life, just doesn't feed into media(and other) morons.
