    I can only assume you're also not a fan of college basketball. Umm March Madness lasts 1 month and no where near half the teams make the tournament. It still takes a long-ass time and there's still an absurd amount of teams competing. I have no idea why one would expect that the time span for playoffs must occur within a certain amount of time. Why is one month OK, but over one month is not? The issue is you have a bunch of mediocre teams competing for long-ass periods of time. It doesn't bother you much when Mississippi Valey State is in the NCAAs, because they're gone in a day. I'm going to be stuck watching the Bulls for a full week.

    I didn't bring up Rose's intelligence, somebody else said he was too smart to crash a motorcycle and end his career. I'm well aware that it has nothing to do with on-court performance, one of the reasons Garnett went pro out of high school was because he couldn't qualify. Kevin Garnett shouldn't have spent a second in college even if he had a 4.0 and a 1600 on his SATs. It's easy to say that in retrospect, but who was the last guy to go to the NBA from high school before Garnett? Moses Malone?
